McCormick Hot Chili Seasoning Mix, 1.25 oz Packet

I used this in a a chili pot that had 3 lbs of meat, tomatoes, veggies and beans and one packet was enough to season it all. I fed a family 8 with this pot of chili and even the kids who don't usually like spicy food loved it! The flavor is not too overwhelming but still packs a good amount of flavor. When you read the back of the package, you can taste the ingredients listed. Great blend!

This chili seasoning packet made putting dinner on the table, quick and easy. It requires only a few pantry ingredients to prepare and was very tasty. We don't like beans in our chili, so I opted for some mushrooms instead. The hot version had just the right amount of kick which we enjoyed.

I usually make chili by adding in the many herbs and spices individually, but this makes it so much simpler. All the spices needed are in one package. I made a medium size batch and this was the perfect amount of seasoning. It was just a little spicy, which I loved

This chili seasoning was great. It is easy to make and everyone loved the flavor. I like that it is easily customizable and gives you options of other ingredients you can add. It is hot and has a lot of flavor. I would definitely purchase again in the future.

I used this chili seasoning in my chili which is 15 beans soup and other things. I wasn't sure how it would taste with all the different flavors -but- it came out really nice and it was easy to add to the meal. I used it to cook in my slow cooker, I didnt try oven.

Used a pouch Mccormick's hot chili mix( that I received free). I also normally use Mccormicks chili mix. It's just as good as the regular but with a mild heat. Not a Tabasco heat, but a warmth. Great mix; unless you want or need an overpowering heat.

Thanks to McCormick for the free packet of hot chili seasoning mix. I admit, I wouldn't normally choose a hot seasoning over the regular version. We are a mixed spiced household with my husband leaning toward spicy and me the mild. This was a perfect in between when used to make turkey chili. Nice amount of heat without overpowering the other flavors. Leftovers also tasted great on chili cheese dogs the next day.

I made a pot of chili using McCormick's Hot Chili Seasoning Mix, and overall it turned out pretty good. My family definitely enjoyed it. I'm only giving it 3 stars because it still has that typical packaged, processed taste. Super easy to use, just not quite "homemade" flavor.

Unfortunately this was not good. It's hard to explain, but it tastes quite artificial. It was easy to cook with and to follow the instructions, but we were not happy with the end result. The biggest red flag is that it doesn't specifically state what spices are in it.
