McCormick Kosher Ground Turmeric, 0.95 oz Bottle

I love using spices. Turmeric is a constant that I use in pretty much everything I make. I don't use a lot but just a pinch is enough to give that background note that i'm after. I used a lot of McCormick spices when I can so I was excited to try their turmeric. I love that the color is way more closer to fresh than some of the other ground turmeric. The color should have been a signal that this was more potent than other brands. That's not a bad thing, in fact that's a great thing as that means less is used and a bottle lasts a bit longer. I will keep this as my go to for turmeric in the future!

I enjoyed using this product and the amount of flavor it added. However I do not feel that it was any more noticeable than a store brand product. I do appreciate a name brand product because I know I should be able to trust the quality. If this product was the same price as the store brand, I would likely buy it.

Healthcare officials and well as health conscious people say to use turmeric in your food or certain drinks but honestly while and after using it I don't see what the hype is about it. I felt or saw no difference within myself while or after using it. There was a time I put some of it in one of my dishes and it gave it a weird taste and I was like "Maybe I put too much." Then I mixed some of it with my tea and I didn't like the taste it gave it as well. Turmeric maybe a good seasoning and may have good benefits but it's not for me.

This turmeric has made fantastic additions to so many breakfasts, oatmeals, protein shakes, and even golden milk! (Look up golden milk) its flavorful and healthy for you. A no brainer! Recieved this through a bzzagent sample, thanks bzzagent and McCormick!

I made one of my favorite drinks with this turmeric - Haldi Ka Doodh! This McCormick turmeric is perfect for it - rich and earthy aroma, perfect amount of bite, nutty aftertaste, pairing perfectly with ginger and cinnamon in this creamy beverage. I'd recommend this to anyone. The container is easy to use (teaspoons fit inside with ease) and the labeling makes it easy to find (big bold print with high contrast)

I love this turmeric. It has great flavor and I can add to many things. There's great health benefits for your health. It's very good on chicken with other spices and in rice dishes. It gives things natural yellow color to things instead of using food dye

I'm a little embarrassed to say I've never bought any kind of turmeric to put in my food, but I'm pleasantly surprised! I've put this in my chicken, rice, and vegetables so far. It gives it a really nice color, and it upped the taste a noticeable amount! It also is good for you too so that's another plus. I'll now be keeping this turmeric in my rotation with other seasonings, you get a lot in this bottle though so I won't run out for awhile!

A recipe I made required turmeric and I was able to use this sample. The powder added just the right amount of bitter flavor without being overpowering, and the flavor seemed high quality. I also thought the container was very easy to use and easy to open.

This review is part of a promotional offer. My bottle of McCormick turmeric arrived with a 2026 "season-ending" injury. She suffered a tear to the anterior seal and I had to place her on the injured list.....while she is benched, I plan to proceed into the 2026 seasoning roster and draft new McCormick teammates. Thank You for the opportunity in allowing me to try something new! May your 2026 seasoning remain the MVP in the kitchen and make it to my "Supper bowls"!

McCormick is a brand known for its quality and consistency and a brand I purchase on a regular basis. I love spending time in the kitchen and creating flavorful dishes for my family so I use trusted brands to help me achieve the perfect culinary treat. McCormick's Turmeric is a great spice that I add to my curries and during the heart of canning season, I like to use McCormick's Turmeric in my Bread and Butter Pickle Brine. It provides a deep savory flavor, enhancing my dishes. I highly recommend McCormick's Turmeric and the entire line of McCormick spices to anyone looking for consistent quality.
