McCormick Less Sodium Chili Seasoning Mix, 1.25 oz Packet

I've been using the original McCormick chili seasoning for years and love it. We had a party a couple weeks ago and I used the less sodium seasoning for a batch of chili I made for it. I did have to go get more because I doubled the size, but it's available at stores so no big deal. Everyone loved it. My husband in particular, who is always worried about healthier options not tasting the same. I also felt that there was no loss in flavor from the original seasoning. Being that the whole group and my family loved it I will be switching to this in our house. There was also no price difference in the store. Overall I would say it's a great product with a decent price.

The chili mix was super easy to use, just dump in the pot with all the other chili ingredients! The mix incorporated well with the other ingredients! The mix is packed full of great flavors! Good if you don't have ingredients to make your own. This may be lower sodium, but it is still high. But sometimes we have to use this. I can't tell a difference in the taste between this and reg chili mix.

I much prefer this lower sodium McCormick Chili seasoning as someone who's trying to watch my salt intake. My kids enjoyed this too since it wasn't too spicy. Just the right about of chili flavor. Super easy to add ingredients into the crock pot and walk away. I'd buy again!

I made my standard crockpot chili with black and great northern beans. The chili had great depth of flavor and wasn't "dull" the way many low-sodium things tend to be. It was a huge hit, and we'll definitely use it again.

Made chili this weekend and used my new Mcormick seasoning. Had a good flavor which was surprising seeing it has less sodium. Definitely felt I had to add in fresh onion and pepper to the dish and the seasoning the chili turned out great. Would use again!
