Medline Drop-Arm Padded Commode, 350 lb Capacity, Foam Seat & Backrest

This bs commode is so much nicer than any other I've ever seen. It's not too heavy yet extremely sturdy. I recommend it for anyone needing this equipment.

I am 6ft. Tall and facing total knee surgery in January and told I would need a bedside commode. Well, this is much more. I am currently using it over my low toilet to elevate the seat which is Wonderful! But I had to remove the padded back because it was too much when backed against the original toilet seat. But if I need to use this commode bedside (after surgery) I can re-apply the padded back and fold down the closest arm. Lots of good options!

Excellent in-home commode chair for use by a bed-ridden family member. The pail can be slid out for easy disposal and the arms swing down to permit ease of transfer to the chair from the bed. The padding is attractive and comfortable. It is sturdy and the patient feels secure using it.

No assembly required. Great for transfers. Sturdy. The seat material is the plastic that cracks easily (from past experience) but it is more comfortable for now. Love it.

The product is exactly as described. Very comfortable seating. The problem my mom is having with is that even though the seat is what she wanted, it doesn't provide firm support when transferring from her bed to the seat and she ends up sinking into the seat more unfortunately. She realizes now that even though the harder plastic seat on the one in the rehab isn't as comfortable, she doesn't sink in to the bucket below. Also since she can't stand and has to slide onto the commode from her hospital bed, there are sharp like metal pieces below the arm that cut her leg when sliding onto it.

the seat is comfortable and sturdy however the commode pot itself has about a 3 inch Gap in the front and the back and after contacting Walmart and Medline and going through an entire hoopla of we don't care the bottom line is if you buy this hopefully you're putting it over a toilet because if you're using it as a bedside commode you're going to have one of two things to clean up regularly because there's a 3 inch Gap in front and a 3-in gap in the back and their response was that is the design model basically screw off so save your money and buy a honey pot 🤦🏻

This commode is rated to hold someone up to 350 pounds I weigh 235 pounds & it did feel very sturdy. That is the pro. The cons are many; its probably sturdy enough to hold someone 350 pounds but it is in no way comfortable for someone of that weight. I have large hips & large thighs. The arms on the chair could not be put up at all when I was sitting in the chair. It has a round bucket that is to small there is plenty of room for someone to accidently spill onto the floor. The manufacturar also didn't take into consideration the rail that holds the chair it completely blocks access for a person to be able to wipe themselves. This is NOT a chair built for a large person.

We ordered this and then discovered that we didn't need it, after all. We contacted the company and they said they would stick to their policy of "no returns" in spite of the fact that we explained to them we hadn't even opened the box that it came shipped in.

Didn't see sale writeup data that said that it was for tall people, or that it is non returnable. Also the seat was not shipped with plastic over the seat and the seat had stains on it.
