Very sturdy. Can lift small items, doesn't break. Have used a previous one i purchased for years. Wanted another one to use in separate location. You Do need to be able to hold the grip tightly to not drop your item. Would recommend this if your grip is good.
I ordered this product after having back surgery and being told that I could not bend, twist, pull, push or reach for anything. I was so miserable and felt so helpless....until I received my Medline Reacher. I know it may seem silly, but this product has saved my sanity...not to mention is helping me to be a good patient which in turn will aid in my recovery. It is the perfect length and does just like it says, it picks up even the smallest, most delicate thing you can imagine. It is a good quality product that is definitely worth your $10. I carry it with me everywhere I go in the house and have used it every single day since I got it. I almost wish I would have bought two of them....one for upstairs and one for downstairs!!
This grabber was not for me, but my wife. She has back troubles and is very short. We have had few of these grabbers. This one is the best. No trouble using it at all, like the other ones we bought.
I can get my pen or small pieces of paper from the floor and small/middle size can from the upper shelf. It is a little tight to squeeze the handle otherwise it's an excellent tool for a reasonable price.
These parallel handle squeezes last so much longer than the trigger squeeze type. Don't try and use it as a cane to get up. I did and the plastic grab ends snapped off.
This is well-made, and pretty sturdy. It is not recommended to use it to lift more than 5 pounds, which may not work for someone wanted to pick up heavier items. For my needs, it works perfectly. I use it to pick up my doggie's dishes when feeding them, and also dropped items such as a sock. Have not tried to pick up something really thin like a piece of paper, so will have to see if it will do that. The only caution I would have is to make sure you keep pulling up on the handle until you have your item firmly in your hands. The clamps don't lock when you squeeze the handle.
My second Medliner reacher and the best model reacher I have ever had. I broke the first one slamming the car door on it.
Easier to pick up objects than 2 other more expensive ones I have. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
This is probably by far the best reacher/grabber. I use it when I am on my tractor to pick up tree branches. It is both sturdy and easy to use. Walmart order ad delivery was swift and the product was exactly what it was described as.
This item was delayed delivery, marked delivered, notified company it had not arrived, they said it showed delivered on their end, it arrived two days later. The customer service was very poor.
