Medline Toilet Safety Frame Rails

This is a great, stable option for someone needing "toilet" support. We installed this for our 83 year old dad. It has made his "toilet activity" so much easier. It is light, easy to install and very stable. It is suitable for a fairly narrow space. Details that might be helpful. He's had two hip replacements and is weak in the hips and knees. As he's aged, his upper body is weaker so it's more difficult for him to rely on his "athletic strength". He weighs appx 215lbs.

After my husband got out of the hospital he was still weak and needed a way to rise up easier. Everything is just the right height. Two features were significant. The grips on arms are very comfortable even allowing it to be used as an armrest. Second important feature is the feet are recessed back allowing for less trip hazard. Very well made and very easy to install.

This rails are great. Installed them with my seat extender and they very stable and really help when getting up and down. Am getting my 91 yest old sister in law one

This was installed in a very small bathroom. The fact that the legs are set back rather than running straight down really helps my father-in-law maneuver his walker. The foam grips are very useful.

This item was purchased for my elderly mother who had fallen several times in the bathroom. She has not fallen since the safety frame was installed. We highly recommend this item for the elderly.

I read the reviews before I made my purchase. One said the front legs didn't touch the floor. Ours did that at first, but all I had to do was adjust the height and no more wobble. The height adjustment is more for the height of the toilet not necessarily the height of the individual. So keep that in mind. My mother has Alzheimer's and depth perception and weakness are issues for her so this is a tremendous help.

We paid a little more for this frame, and it was well-worth the extra cost. The frame is very sturdy, does not wobble, and is easy to attach to the toilet. It is also simple to adjust for height. My only suggestion: should make certain that the toilet bolts that hold the frame are tightened sufficiently to keep it in place.

I just started using this toilet seat. It seems to work fine. I did add a couple of furniture leg pads to to keep it from sliding and to even the legs out.

Very sturdy easily adjusted and very comfortable and safe

With only 2 points of contact with the floor, the handles wobbled when my husband used the rail to get up. He dreaded using the bathroom because of the feeling of instability.
