Medline Toilet Safety Rails, Adjustable Folding Toilet Frame for Elderly and Disabled, 250 lb Weight Capacity

It is solid. I tried to get my wife to use her walker but they can slip around and cause confusion, she has dementia. I had to hold it for her. So, yep, easy to use; yep, works for elderly cognitive impaired individual; yep, easy to assemble; and yep, height matters since she's short! So does width -- see below. One possible drawback, if the user has a wide rear end, even the wide width may not be comfortable when pooping and cleaning up. BUT, if it's wider, than a smaller body may not feel secure sitting on it. I have no idea how to negotiate that issue. Still -- Good product!

The safety rails were easy to install. They are very stable and supportive. I especially like the way the handle covers are designed. The no-slip design makes the safety rails even safer.

My mom and I are both disabled with various strength and balance issues. We've tried several different styles of hand rails, and this is by far the most stabilizing. I do wish the came forward a bit more for those like my mom who have limited range of motion. Works great otherwise and I'm ordering a second one for our other bathroom.

I'm using the Medline Toilet Safety Rails after having foot and ankle surgery 8 days ago. It was very easy to install prior to surgery and was adjustable to fit the space between the counter and the bathtub. It has made my post-surgery days much better since I cannot yet put weight on my foot and am using a knee scooter to get around. No problem getting myself off the toilet and back onto my knee scooter without putting weight on my foot! And, at less than $35, a super good value!

this is a great product for a low cost to assist with toilet use. Would have been 5 star product if a one page directions could have been enclosed. Also could use some kind of pad for between metal bar and porcelain of toilet, I used some foam weatherstripping. We expect temporary usage during surgical recover so don't want to damage toilet surface. Very easy to adjust both in width and height, I think I have it proper since again no written guidance enclosed or on product web site.

I just needed handles for my little mother to use at Memory Care. The handles don't come out far enough to be placed well for usage. I guess they act like rails on a bed preventing. Falling east or west but they are too far back to grab to raise or lower oneself.

It's very flimsy, the arms open up when you seat or get up , we tried to adjust the hight thinking that maybe that was the problem, but it still moved

This item arrived broken and missing the cross bar to attach to the toliet. Do not waste your money on this. Walmart worked with me on the item. I would not recommend.

My mom is handicapped and needs toilet rail to help her go to restroom. She is not tall and I have tried and measured what the dimension she needs. When Medline Toilet Safety Rails came up in Walmart website, I was pleased to see the height at 24" to 29". 24' is exactly what she wants. When I received item, it says 28" to 33". And sure enough, it is too high for her. While it is not helpful to point fingers, I hope Walmart or Medline can make sure the dimension is correct before put it up for sale, otherwise it is a waste of time and gas for customers to run around for an incorrectly described item.

This would be a great help in getting up from the toilet except for the fact that they advertised it as being 4 inches shorter than what arrived! I have a very low toilet and needed that shorter size. The shortest size I can make this is 29 inches and it's like pulling my arm out of the socket every time I use it. Needless to say, it's in storage! And I also don't like the fact that Medline lets everyone know what's in the boxes! In the future, if I can order the same product from a different company, I will.
