It's cheaper than lego but just as fun to build. Love the pokemon designs as well. Better for display than play but definitely worth the money
I got this for my 8 year old who loves Pokémon. He was very excited to build it. It was just the right level of difficulty for him. He was able to put it together and play with it. The 92 piece set was perfect to keep him entertained. We would recommend this set! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
My son was so excited to open it and play with it! Not only was it easy enough to assemble that the excitement had not worn off by the time he had it put together, he was able to actually play with it as a bit of an action figure! It’s stuck together really well. He is really into Pokémon right now and this was a really fun build for him! He is 7 and new to more intricate builds, but this one kept his attention without frustration setting in. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I received the Mega Construct Pokemon Kadabra for free and I my son and his friend try to build it. My son's opinion is that is great and the instructions are easy to read but he and his friend agree that it's a little hard to put the pieces together. I help them at some point because pieces needed to put together with a little more pressure. Overall is a great toy for Pokemon fans like my son but some kids would need help. My grandson liked wants ya to carry all pokemon legos
My son was excited to get the MEGA construx as I didnt tell him I signed up for it. As he started putting it together he had trouble keeping the pieces locked together. Once complete, it has been a nice toy to play with. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
My son really enjoyed building the Mega Construx Pokemon Kadabra. He is 8 years old, so 92 pieces was an amount that wasn't overwhelming and too difficult for him to manipulate while not being too simplistic for him to lose interest. He has continued to play with it since receiving and building it. Even after Christmas, I have seen him playing with Kadabra with his other building block toys. My 7yr old son loves Pokemon and legos. This is a great product that combines both themes together. While the product isnt “Lego” brand it was fun to put together and actually challenged him (in a good way) to assemble it. It did take him about an hour to assemble because the pieces are a little small but other than that its great! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
My son was super eager to build his Mega Construx Kadabra. He loves Pokemon, so the toy clearly caught his attention. He is 7 years old and can usually do this type of building activity on his own, but he did need some help interpreting some of the instructions (a few of the steps were not clear or required him to do multiple things at once). The build itself was straightforward for the most part, although we did find that is can be tricky to get the pieces to "click together" at times - at times even identical pieces had to be used in a specific spot or it would not stay in place/would fall apart. Overall, I would recommend the Kadabra for kids who love Pokemon, but they may need a bit of adult help to build the project. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
There were several extra pieces that we did not need in the main product. It was very entertaining to put together. Once we put it all together, we had fun with it. The instructions were easy to follow. Long term, it will probably just sit there now that it is assembled. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
