I had been reading how most people are deficient in magnesium and how it can affect sleep and had recently been struggling with multiple night wakings. I started by taking one pill before bed because sometimes I have weird reactions to supplements, and I have noticed an overall benefit in my sleep I am waking up more rested and not tired. I do not remember waking overnight so I think it is helping me stay asleep as well. Overall, I sleep more soundly taking it. I had forgotten it is overall supposed to help with stress and mood, but I have felt generally less stressed as well. Whether that is the supplement or sleeping better I don't know. I am pretty particular on my supplements and I love that this one has few fillers, comes in a glass bottle, and is tested for pesticides. I had previously been taking a liquid magnesium but the taste made me gag, and this is much easier to take! I was given this supplement to test, but I intend to purchase again when I run out. I have taken magnesium supplements during my pregnancies for migraines, muscle aches and restless leg syndrome, but hadn't ever tried it outside of pregnancy. I was so grateful for the opportunity to test this product. I received it less than a week ago, but so far I've actually seen a vast improvement in the quality of my sleep. I struggle to fall asleep and stay asleep on most nights, but since starting this magnesium my sleep has improved. Even my sleep tracking app has noticed the difference, especially in the number of times I wake up throughout the night. It's hard to say whether it's affected my stress level- as a mom of 4 I am always stressed- but better sleep is absolutely the best first step toward lowering my stress throughout the day. Overall I've really loved adding magnesium to my nightly routine. I take it right before bed and it's been easy to implement and remember. I will definitely be continuing this new habit going forward.

I take this magnesium because I believe MegaFood third party test their products. Also, because I take another med that according to the net, it takes away some of the magnesium you naturally take and I want to replenish as much as I can with what I believe is one of the best ones out there.

I've only been taking them for 9 days now, but I've already started to notice a difference. I strength train 4 days a week consistently and can be quite sore the next day. However, since I started taking this supplement, I've been recovering quicker and don't feel as sore. Also, my watch has been reporting my sleep score in the 90s this past week, which is a huge improvement from my average 73 score. Specifically, my deep sleep has been a lot higher. Considering how vital deep sleep is for the body, this alone makes me want to continue to take this product daily. As far as my stress level, I haven't noticed a huge difference yet, but I'm a mom of three young children, so my anxiety levels are often high. I'm still holding out hope that in a week or two, that will also improve. Overall, I think this is a great product and I would highly recommend it to someone that is looking for help with muscle soreness and overall sleep improvement.

After receiving the product, I wanted to do my own research on it. I was very pleased to find that the ingredients were clean. I like that at prioritizes ingredients that are based from food. It's also free from allergens, pesticides and herbicides. Since I am a clean eater myself and try to stay away from chemicals and eat mostly organic this was perfect for me. I started taking the product after receiving it and used it nightly for about two weeks so far. It has helped relax me at night and resulted in a calmer evening and I found it easier to drift off to sleep. It even helped me stay asleep. Prior to using the product I would get up more often or wake up more often throughout the night. I believe it has calmed my nerves, stress and body as a whole. Continuing to take, it allows me for a much more relaxed sleep. Upon waking, I feel rested and ready to take on the day. This is great for everyone not just for those who are struggling to sleep at night. I think everyone could use a more relaxed sleep. I have recently become interested in finding more natural products and natural solutions that can benefit my health. When I was younger I never took vitamins and never really took great care of myself. After having two children in my 30's, becoming a single mom, and working 40+ hours a week, I am beyond exhausted and my body constantly feels worn down. Although a bit late, I have realized how important my health is and how I really need to do whatever I can to ensure a long and healthy life. I have also gained an understanding on the importance of sleep. The first day taking these vitamins, no difference, ok it's only one day. The second day, at 2am, I woke up and couldn't go back to sleep until 5am. Every day I took these for the next week, this happened, as soon as I stopped taking them, didn't wake up for three hours in the middle of the night.
