Melissa & Doug Dinosaur Wooden Chunky Puzzle (7 pcs) - FSC Certified

The ordering process was smooth all was available . I didn't complete "no substitutions" for this order and couldn't find a way to address this step after checking out even though there is time to add items after checkout. This would be the only issue.

This is a good quality wooden puzzle. The Dinos are really cute, and the images on the pieces are not the ones we all know as moms that chip and peel off quickly. The pieces are a thick wood that can really double as a toy, and they are often part of our games with other dinosaur figures.

I love this line of wooden puzzles from Melissa %26 Doug. M %26 D make sturdy wooden products that feel nostalgic in quality but contemporary in learning activities. The colors and illustrations are highly appealing to children. The puzzles help scaffold: --Basic vocabulary skills --Emerging problem-solving skills (e.g., What can we try since the piece didn't fit that way?) --Abstract thinking/planning (..What looks like it WOULD fit in this spot...?) --Rudimentary organizational skills (such as how to organize puzzle pieces mentally, as well as compare %26 contrast pieces)

I bought this as a Christmas present for my grandson. I received it and from the looks and feel of the package it is a nice and sturdy puzzle. Just inspecting the pieces on the outside the R nice and chunky for his little hands. I believe he will really love this.

These puzzles are colorful, not too difficult, and a great springboard for having conversations about animals, or science, or any one of a number of things. These neat little puzzles are engaging and my grandchild has a great time solving the puzzle and doing it again and again.

nicely made. chunky wooden puzzle. great for toddlers as young as 12mo. when u remove the puzzle pieces, theres a picture of what dino goes into each slot on the board and not just a blank empty shape like some are- which is great for the learning toddler! my sons 2 and loves these thicker wooden puzzles. i find they're quite expensive for being just a small puzzle with a handful of pieces BUT bc of the thickness and bright colors, i didnt mind buying a few. not only good for hand eye coordination but problem solving, matching, learning colors, Dino names, knowing the differences in upside down or backwards etc. The pieces being chunky are easy for the toddler to grab and handle. Now i just need to figure out how mommas store these things lol! i currently have them in big zip lock bags with their pieces. if you throw them in the toybox you'll loose half the pieces or not find all of them when you want them. Stacking on bookshelf didnt work bc the pieces of multiple puzzles ends up mixed and scattered thru the house. lol

My child's new obsession. I purchased a whole lot of Melissa %26 Doug puzzles %26 have been taking them out slowly. Son loves it and colors are vibrant.

Great construction, quality, and color. Wonderful and fun for children. Great for creating dexterity and reasoning. I started using with our baby at just a few months old. Only wish would be for one more color instead of 2 yellows, and a clear zip storage bag.

Great for 2 year old! Every day, my two year-old grandson dumps all the pieces in the floor to this and his other wooden puzzles by Melissa and Doug and then he re-works the puzzles. Every day. I think I paid about five dollars each for them -money well spent, not just for the physical act of working the little puzzles, but naming the animals or sea creatures that make up the pieces

I purchased these for Christmas gifts because my 2 1/2 year old great grandson Enjoys doing puzzles. The size and quality of the wood were fantastic. The puzzle pieces were large and he has a great time being able to put them in their proper places. I bought 2 different ones and would have purchased more if they had them. Excellent price for a very quality product which makes playtime fun and educational!!
