Melnor Telescoping Sprinkler

This is our second season using these sprinklers and we love them. They are off the ground so no one is stepping on them and the water sprays the entire yard. Exactly what we needed.

Love that the sprinkler extended as high as it did. It covered an amazingly big area. I loved the 1st one I bought so much I bought 3 more, and no longer had to move my sprinklers around my garden.

I got two last year love them when the tomatoes got big..

Had one similar to it Does a great job dispersing a lot of water to a large area in a relatively short time

I have another melnor telescoping sprinkler it is much older and it puts out a larger coverage area, great quality, and a larger diameter stem. This is why I wanted the Melnor specifically but this sprinkler is the exactly the same as all of the other brands the stem is skinnier and coverage area is smaller, don't get me wrong it still covers a good deal it just isn't like the older model. I wish they would bring that back.

The metal is not strong enough to survive being stuck into the ground multiple times. It bends if the ground is not super soft and after bending a few times (and being straightened out), it breaks. The metal looks strong, but it is not. Which is too bad, since the coverage is really good. I would only buy this if I was going to leave it in one place, rather than moving it around.

This DOES NOT EXTEND 40" In spite of the misleading pic on the packaging, the 40" include the tip to the stake to the very tippy top of the sprinkler... the extension height is really about 28" a foot less than advertised.

Sad. the design is good but the pot metal material is fragile. It broke in two weeks. And, it all so leaked. A disappointment.

Leaks at the connection point for the wand. Terrible design

I have very loose sandy soil. Anchor stake broke with in two days. Coverage area very small
