Got this hose to use between the houses or between the curb and sidewalk. Material was not as thick as I had before but did the job perfectly. Light weight. Puts out much more water than the black ones.
This sprinkler hose fits the bill if you're looking for a sprinkler and soaker...and it is made better and easier to handle than others I've had....just what I was looking for!
like the pattern of the water coming out but time will tell if it is durable
Just love this 50 ft. sprinkler! It works beautifully; it covers a large area with a gentle spray. I have been looking for this tube sprinkler for several months and found that Wal-Mart sells it online. So easy to purchase it online and use in-store shipping to my home store. Easy Peasy!
WE GOT THIS PRODUCT TO WATER SEVERAL LONG, THIN FLOWER BEDS USING ONE SUPPLY HOSE. WE LEAVE THEM IN THE BEDS AND ONLY HAVE TO UNHOOK AND MOVE THE MAIN,WATER SUPPLY HOSE. THESE CAN BE BE TURNED UPWARDS FOR A FINE SPRAY UP OVER THE ENTIRE PLANTS OR TURN IT UPSIDE DOWN FOR A GROUND SOAKER HOSE. ONE OF THE BEST THINGS I LIKE ABOUT THIS PRODUCT IS THAT YOU CAN SCREW SEVERAL HOSES TOGETHER TO GET THE LENGTH YOU NEED FOR JUST ABOUT ANY NEED AND SHORT OF AN EXPENSIVE IN-GROUND SPRINKLER SYSTEM, THIS WORKS WELL AND SEEMS TO HAVE A MINIMUM OF EVAPORATION LOSS WHEN USED AS A SOAKER HOSE.
if you have a long area this will do the trick. The hundred foot one is long to handle, but the smaller ones work out better. Wind will blow it so you may have to put weight on it so it does blow away. Worth a try. Will take on a six foot small flow of water going up to cover six foot area
The good: I loved the fact these hoses shoot the water up in the air and cover quite a bit of square footage, as opposed to a soaker hose that drips straight into the ground. I needed more coverage for seedlings. The bad: they are very thin and easily torn. You have to take care in handling them. One of my horses stepped on one and tore it. We were able to cut off the damaged piece and crimp the end with a repair kit. If they get hung on something while youre putting them in place, dont pull on them.
I removed the Andrews Tube sprinkler from its' packaging and immediately had the feeling that this was a flimsy product. After hooking it up to a water hose and turning the water on to a slow discharge I noticed most of the sprinkler hose was delivering a fine spray which I expected. However, in at least three separate areas there were a series of larger holes delivering not a "spray" but "streams" of water making the sprinkler hose pretty much useless! This product is a disaster.
I honestly can't imagine why anyone would think this is a good hose. It is way to flexible and flimsy and very difficult to maneuver, place and then move to another spot when needed. It is also a major pain to flip the hose over. This is necessary because one side sprays out like a sprinkler and the other side dribbles like a soaker hose. If it even slightly snags a plant it tears a whole. Also, the hose end pieces have to be just in the right spot before attaching to a hose and they tend to move around alot. I would not recommend or never buy again.
I've had these hoses in the past and loved them. They put down a gentle shower and soak the ground quickly. It had been a few years since I had purchased these hoses, and I was due for some new ones (over time they develop holes. Normal wear and tear). These newest hoses I received burst large holes out the sides within seconds of first use. The plastic is obviously not as thick as they had been in the past, making them junk. Three years ago, or so, I would have given these a 5 star-now I give them no stars. Very disappointing.
