Works. I've purchased this brand now for years. It also works if you need more hose for their soaker hose kit with the tee fittings, hose ends, etc. You aren't limited in length or shape then. Only thing is they do not last for years and years. If it's exposed to the sun expect one year out of it. Meaning one season. If you cover it with mulch you can get two. The sun will degrade it and for whatever reason they get hard and brittle. You'll know because the hose will not be black anymore but a grayish color. It's a good hose.
Purchased to water trees and shrubs. I bought 6 of them to run 300 feet .4 work well and two hardly seep at all. I'll be returning it.
Within a week of receiving and laying out the 8 hoses ordered one blew out. I am familiar with this type of hose and found it strange that this happened. I can only assume there was a defect. Hope my replacement arrives soon.
I guess you get what you pay for. We were stoked to find this "deal." My husband designed the layout and worked tirelessly to put the hoses in the exact perfect spot. Each line had it's own water source. It said on the package you can connect max 3 of these without jeopardizing pressure. A bit cautious, we only started with 1. Very disappointed to see that the plants at the front of the line were near drowning. End of the line was dripping so lightly that the water evaporated. ... Drought... We brought them to the paved driveway and also tested them independently. Same thing. Returning these to Walmart and (hopefully) purchasing a higher end product.
Leaking in several places. End part came off before first use.
I would give this a 0 rating, but can't. I had 3 of them and wasted my money, threw them all away. At the connection it had way too much water spraying out, so it flooded the area. I had another one connected to it and it didn't put out any water. I made sure the little blue discs inside the end were taken out. Still nothing. Messed with the water pressure and there were no kinks. I even switched around the hoses thinking it was just the one hose that would need to be replaced. Nope, the other one did the exact same thing. Wasted money...
I bought 2 hoses online with curbside delivery, so I didn't have opportunity to look at them prior to purchase and I didn't actually check them out until I went to use them. My bad. They BOTH had only one coupling end attached. The first hose had a female coupling so I was able to use it and just plug the other end. It seemed odd, but I assumed the other end was left off for for a plug/coupling that had to bought separately. However, when I went to use the other hose, it too had only one coupling but it was a male coupling. So it could not even be used as is. The pictures in the ad clearly show hose with both female and male couplings AND with a plug cap already on the male end. Now I guess I'll have to go back to the store and work something out.
Leaks at connection. I saw in another review to take out the blue disk. Didn't make a difference at all! This doesn't not work as a soaker hose because of the leak, only a partial part of the hose even has water coming out - not enough pressure to have water run through-out the hose.
Absolute garbage. Ordered 4 for curbside, they only had 2. Thank God I didn't end up with 4 … they simply don't give you enough water to keep plants alive in the southern heat.
I hook this hose up water came out everywhere but where it was suppose to, and no i am not sending it back because then you will take money out of that to ship, keep the money but I will not another hose from you'll
