Michigan Peat Garden Magic General Purpose Soil Mix, 20 Lb Bag (4 Pack)

This soil has good texture and no large pieces of wood and contained no stones. It looks dark and rich and had no off putting odors. It seems to be a good balanced potting soil. I purchased because the manufacturer states that it can be used for growing vegetables so that means that it doesn't contain any harmful additives for anything I grow and may possibly consume.

well Im 70 years young and I decided to a garden this year so this soil works awesome for my tomatoes .The only issue I had was the bags I bought were 40 lbs bags so little to muchfor me to handle alone but great product

Product was as described on line. Worked great

I used this potting soil last year and was so pleased that that I ordered more this year . I use it for my vegetable plants and flower beds .

TOO EARLY FOR PLANTING BUT I HAVE USED THIS POTTING SOIL MIX BEFORE AND FOUND IT TO BE GOOD --ITS JUST WHAT I NEED FOR PLANTING IN POTS--I WILL LET YOU KNOW AFTER I USE IT-BUT I FEEL ITS JUST AS GOOD AND THE PRICE FITS MY PURSE--

Very nice and dark but has at least 20% 2-4 inch pieces of wood and small hard objects, possibly rocks. Had to sift the soil before I could use it in seed trays. Contains peat moss so it dries out fast and becomes crusty.

I only received 2 20lb bag's and paid for 4 bag's. The box was torn to pieces and probably 2 bag's was stolen in shipping. I want the other 2 bag's I paid for.

This soil was filled with so many wood pieces. Therefore I spent money on sticks instead of soil.

None of my plants did well in this soil, have them in large tubs on the deck. dries out fast does not hold moisture even the ones where I added some vermiculite, would not get it again

The pallet was wrapped in plastic but it had dirt leaking out from the bottom. There were 5 bags that had broken open and only a fraction of the bag had contents. I was shorted 11 bags of soil and trying to get a complete refund has been a nightmare... I am still short 1 bag refund. Not ordering anything like this again!!
