I bought the MicroTouch Max to remove the little hairs growing on my chin and just above my upper lip. Not painful. Simple to use. Got good results, except after a little over a week after use, I could feel little hairs beginning to come back (not weeks later as advertised). I still would recommend it.
This product is really good, even though a lot of as seen on tv products aren't as good or a wast of money, this product however is not. completely worth it.
great product. easy to use, and it works great.
I needed something that would remove chest hair, without leaving/causing those odd "red bumps"...that can form after using a regular beard-razor. This product fulfilled that niche perfectly. I couldn't get the cut "down to the skin..", but it got it down far enough that I had no actual complaints.
I would recommend to a friend...better than using clippers.
Sorry, first time using it April 24, light doesn't work %26 one end of battery came off had to replace!
I have owned trimmers like this before that were much thinner and operated with a sliding on/off switch. This one has rotating dial that goes around middle of trimmer making it hard to use. It's also very thick at one end and heavier than other trimmers, which also makes it harder to use. The light is useless. Blade is not that strong. I use to trim fine hair on ears and neck and wouldn't even think to use this on my nostrils. There are much better products out there for a few $ more.
It worked for about 1 minute then only light worked. The AAA battery was new. I took off blade protector and cleaned blades with brush but no difference. It didn't hum at all like it did before so I knew the blades weren't jammed. I figured something was going to go wrong as soon as I turned it on for the 1st time as the motor (blades) changed "speeds" several times as it was running. Not a good sign for a single speed shaver. Going to take it back to walmart and get my $10+ money back and look at higher priced ones instead.
I still have not received this item, either in the mail or on my doorstop. Please send one when you are able. Nels Swanson
I can describe my experience with the MicroTouch Max in one word, LOUSY. I purchased the Max, online, for my guy. It took a while for it to be delivered. A longer time than I usually expect for a Walmart delivery. I blame that delay on the third party Seller. I saw the Max advertised on TV. It looked like a product that I felt my guy would enjoy using. I was wrong. He opened the package on Christmas Eve to use it. it didn't work. We replaced the battery that came with the Max, with a AAA Duracell. It still didn't work. I think I cannot return it to the store because the part of the package with the barcode was thrown out. I don't have a receipt because its an online order. I paid $10.80 for the Max. Maybe, I can use just my order number to return it. I wrote to the Seller. I explained to them, everything, as I'm explaining in this review. Their response was, "sorry about that.?!" I won't buy anything from seller, LUOCO, again. Their customer after care is sorely lacking.
