I’ve been using this Midea window A/C in my bedroom and it has done a great job so far. It cools the room quickly, even when it’s hot outside, and keeps a steady temperature without constantly cycling on and off. The noise level is surprisingly low—just a soft hum that actually makes it easy to sleep with. The controls are simple and the digital display is bright and easy to read from across the room. I like that it responds well to small adjustments and doesn’t blast freezing air all at once. Installation was straightforward, and once set up, it sealed well and didn’t let in outside noise or air. Even with the unit sitting close to my bed, it’s comfortable and doesn’t blow directly on me unless I angle the vents that way. Overall, it’s a reliable, quiet unit that cools great. Definitely worth it for a bedroom or small living space.
with the remote and temperature setting . This is perfect for a mobilehome since realtor Carmen Cleary like to lie about the home you buy with a working AC and setup you up with a homewarrenty that refuses to fix it.
well, this little air conditioner is one tough little old bird over the years. I’ve had them from Sears and a lot of different companies. The little things are not that expensive and they’re not that expensive to run. They’re easy to install. Just take them out every couple three years and clean them good like anything keep your screens clean and man this little thing I’ll just freeze you out of the house if you wanna run it hard enough very durable love mine I have three of them.
Good quality, everything exactly as advertised and as I would expect. I admit I felt I was gambling getting this model as there are very mixed reviews. Some of them were clearly people experiencing user error and/or had never had a window unit before but one person claimed the pieces were flimsy and broke while trying to install, I didn’t find this to be true. The fins in the side are well made, thicker even than some other models I’ve had. One person complained the labels in the remote weren’t in logical positions for the the buttons, I didn’t find this to be true either, everything on the remote in lined up well. Not super quiet but not the loudest I own either. Good purchase for less than $200.
This is my 2nd Midea air conditioner and it works just as well as the 1st one did. Only reason I replaced the 1st one was because they had a recall on it. The new unit keeps the area very cool and I love the convenience of being able to control it online. Very convenient.
The air conditioner works but the pictures of the item show that it is smart controlled through wifi and it is not. We did not know this until putting it together and in the window.
It's a nice air conditioner, however it doesn't go down to 60 degrees like all my other air conditioners. It also doesn't cool my room as well as it should. My bedroom is not a large space at all, so there should be no reason it isn't cooling the room down to the temp that I like it. I do like the color of the air conditioner though. I think black looks way better than white. I also love the convenient remote control that comes with it. And it has an option to turn off the led lights on the control pad so it doesn't bother you at night, which i thought was pretty cool
the remote control is ridiculous it's impossible to get it on high I'm just too lazy to return it older air conditioners from this company or all the same with the crazy remote control you should try to get it on the high it's impossible I'll never buy another one from this company ever again
worst ac i have ever putchased the siding is terrible big huge gaps! super cheap thin siding! unit keeps freezing up even on low setting which will never cool a small room being the high setting doesnt such a waste of money had to buy a new one .i had purchased the window unit my son purchased the portable midea and he even has problems with the portable unit so i feel like its a bad brand all around
Purchased April 7th, 2025, stopped working June 2nd, 2025, less than a month after the return window has closed. The unit wasn’t all that great to begin with but I surely expected more than 55 days of functionality. Now it blows air but the air is not cool at all, will not cool down, seems like it either had a slow Freon leak from the get go or something else. Leaving this review so others don’t waste their money on a product that will conveniently fail after the return window closes.
