I have a dehumidifier that I needed to drain to the sump pump because it was getting old going upstairs to empty out the bucket. I went to the big box home improvement store and 2 people couldn't figure out what I needed. I went home and with one quick search, I found this and it was a third of the price of what they proposed that I buyt to assemble to achieve the same goal of just this one item, no assembly needed and delivered to my home on walmart plus free shipping the very next day. high quality adaptor and pipe. I'm very happy. I should've just done this first and not wasterd my time.

The dehumidifier didn't come with a hose to bypass the water tank. Found the hose on Walmart online. Ordered it and was able to pick it up the same day. It fit perfectly and don't have to empty the water tank.

This is the third one I bought this summer. Each one is working flawlessly in my church's basement. Consumer Reports gave Midea high ratings and positive comments. I was tired of emptying the dehumidifer daily and finely decided to purchase the hose to drain it outside. Worked perfectly.

The material seems durable. The part that screws-on to the AC/Dehumidifier is plastic but seems sturdy enough and has a washer to prevent leaks. I did use Teflon tape as well, just in case. The hose can be disconnected from the screw-on connector, which makes it easier to attach to the dehumidifier. The other other end is just the hose, so you can shorten the hose if needed. The material does want to keep its coiled-up shape, so it may be necessary to fasten the end of the hose to something to avoid spills.

The temperature and humidity has been brutal lately and my portable air conditioner was having to be emptied every few hours, or it would spit water and leak everywhere. The water seemed to be building up behind the top threaded drain hole but not making it down to the bottom plug drain hole. I unscrewed the cap and screwed this hose on to the standard hose fitting on the back of the AC and ran it to a large stock pot tucked behind it. Saved my back from having to lift the AC and tip it to get all the water out, now the drain hose stays attached on the back and I empty the pot once or twice a day!

the nozzle was just a hair bigger then the hole, so I shaved it down just a little on my belt sander...it is advisable you try that first before attaching the hose... functions properly but this isn't a small hose that will fit in a drain with a cover so keep that in mind

It seemed like a good product but the description was not that Accurate and it was not the correct size I needed

Works as intended, decent quality, doesn't leak, but is very short. I would find a longer hose with an appropriate connection instead.

See it said standard and that it would fit a standard faucet fixture and that's what my dehumidifier has. A standard also but this just wouldn't grab on and turn snug.abit loose and that's means it isn't really working right. It's important because the draining of water goes into a bucket on the inside of basement.
