It is important to note that the Midland Radio batteries must be used until the charge level is very low prior to recharging for 12 hours. I managed to get 6 years of life from my first set of batteries. I suspect that I will get even more by following the charging instructions full

I have 2 base camp radios and these extra batteries will give me the ability to stay up to date with power. I also use alkaline batteries s a backup.

Walmart had the best price, and with the ship to store feature,no charge for shipping, it was as a great deal. I replaced the old batteries and let them charge 36 hour to get a strong starter charge. Long first charge is important for battery performance. The radios are back to normal, and we are back in the woods and able to keep in touch with each other.

I was able to find the right batteries easily even though the prior model had been superseded. The Midland site is easily navigable and not overwhelming just the right amount of information. order was delivered quickly and allowed me to get back to using the radios.

Bought the Xtalkers months ago to use on the farm and decided to purchase some extra batteries to have on hand when the original batteries wear out. I use the radios every day as they are easier to use that trying to text back to the house when I am out in the field. Most pleased with the purchase and with the radios.

I was needing a replacement battery for my Midland base station radio. I Googled the model number and Walmart came up. Not only did Walmart list them, they showed immediately available. I made my order and received them. The description did not say that there was two in the package, which made Walmart as having the best price too.

Just replace the batteries on my GTX1000 radios, I wanted Midland factory originals, and I like the new and improved design. So far they are working great and holding a charge that is better than the originals

Pretty good charger for the midland radios. Lasts about 6 months to a year before we have had to buy new ones. They did bump up the price since replacing it with the original battery but would still recommend this one over any other one or any other brand.

We buy a ton of these batteries. I just wish they had a longer working life. We need them for work all day & night and charge to full capacity within 2 hours.
