Midwest Spree Hard-Sided Pet Carrier

I bought this, after reviewing several other similar products, to take a feral kitten in for neutering before beginning a new life indoors. Not only was it a breeze to assemble, the gate swung open wide enough to easily put the kitten inside. One of my shirts was placed inside to keep him comforted, and since he’s been indoors adjusting the past 2 days he’s decided this crate is where he wants to sleep and feel safe.

Great deal get the one for small dogs it’s bigger for less money. Durable strong feeling when my huge cat is in it. Seems solid puts together easily. I like it.

I have several carriers. One of my cats prefer the soft mesh carriers, my other 2 cats like this hard one. I'm not sure what makes a difference, but seeing as 2 out of 3 of my cats love this, I am glad I bought it! Vet visits will be less stressful for them with this carrier. It's easy to put together and very thick (they cannot claw out of this). A must have.

I was pleasantly surprised at the size, and how well this has held up, especially for the price. I have been using it for my 4 month old chihuahua mix since I have gotten him, we use it about every other day and so far nothing has broken or fallen off. Its easy to clean, lightweight, and surprisingly sturdy. He is around 6lbs now and still has plenty of room.

the locking mechanism is finicky the fur of the door in the swivel locks is not a good fit requiring me to force one side. my elderly parents struggle to get it locked right which results in the dog getting out when we are gone.

The door is the problem, very poor design. The carrier itself is large and roomy and plenty sturdy for a full grown cat . The door comes off, it doesn't open side to side or up and down, it literally comes out and in for placement. So if you have a pet that dosent want to go in and you have to scoot them in, the fight is on to get the door snapped into place before your pet escapes. Because of the door only, I would not recommend this product

It's a good item but a couple parts were missing I'm going to try to see if I can figure out a way to use it bc it's needed to help contain my kittens the night before their spray and neuter appts I ordered 2 of them and the other one had all of its contents I would recommend but please make sure to check if it has all the contents before shipping

NOT SECURED, CAT ESCAPE 2 TIMES, first time, I recovered her. Not today, I lost her. I was already at the Animal Shelter Hunting park after I exit my car when it happened. CARRIER WITH SCREW BETTER

I received a cat carrier with a hole in the lid - the person packaging could not have missed it . I couldn’t return the venders products to Walmart - which I did not see on the website so I had to call and down load a label bring to ups . I had free shipping on the first purchase they wouldn’t give me free shipping in the replacement customer service told me I would have to call after I received the replacement and request reimbursement !! What a hassle

I would not recommend the purchase. The carrier has two circular pieces that are supposed to lock and hold the carrier together by the front. There is nothing on the sides or back of the carrier. While transporting my kitties one carrier popped open and the kitty fell out onto the ground. Thank God I was able to get him and he did not get injured. The doors constantly fall out also. On the door, I had to superglue one side bottom, and top push-in tab. I also superglued the two circular pieces so they do not move at all now. They look nice but are not very dependable if you want to protect your pets.
