Great gift for kids. This game is a hit. They played it at the arcade and couldn't get enough! Got it on a sale couldn't be happier. It was delivered the same day!!

My kids are huge Minecraft fans, so we got this for Christmas. The game is a top-down fighting game, very similar to the arcade Gauntlet series. The game offers 4 player cooperative local multiplayer. It's fun, and the controls are easy enough for even my youngest to participate. The screen does get chaotic however, and it can be easy to lose where your character is. The game is pretty lenient with defeat, and it has scaling difficulties if you want more challenge. It can get a bit repetitive, but it's still fun. You enter a level, fight a bunch of mobs, gain loot (that you hope is better than what you have), and save villagers. Rinse and repeat to level up and get better gear. Unlike the main Minecraft game, there isn't any building or mining element. You slash with swords (or axes), shoot with various bows, and use enchanted artifacts that contain various spells. For the price and inclusion of all DLC, I'm very happy with this purchase. My kids enjoy their gift as well.

Excellent 4 player game that is good co-op game for the whole family. Good RPG style 3d game with lots of collectables and upgrades. Good story line and lots of opportunity to replay missions.

This is a Christmas gift so I can't review the item until my grandson opens it. I'm glad I received it quickly and how am able to get it before Christmas although it was a last minute purchase.

Great game and value with all the included DLC content. Co-op is great for the kids and it's a slightly different and fast paced experience from typical Minecraft. Overall would recommend!

Great game! It's much different than the building Minecraft, but my kid and myself love playing this game together.

Convenience, pricing, and expected quality is the key to a satisfied customer. Nothing else to say.

4 out of 5 stars only because of the two 4 star categories I left (graphics quality and quality for price). Got it on a modest sale, and although it's the ultimate edition, I think $20-25 would have been ideal (paid a little over $30). Graphics aren't quite as good as on PC and Xbox, but that's to be expected. Runs fairly smooth, tho. Overall a great buy and I would recommend it to anyone who likes physical games and wants to get something on sale for themselves or as a gift! Not many Nintendo Switch cartridges are on sale (not nearly like the sales on the digital store), but I like them because of how much space they save on digital storage (some digital games can get pretty big!).
