Minecraft Mojang- Nintendo Switch [Digital]

For kids and as a gift this is amazing!! The value is great and it runs perfectly!! There are some issues when you load into a big server but other than that its great! The ease of use is super simple. Insert it and run it!! Comes with a Mario skin as well. Long story short its AMAZING.

I have twins and one has minecraft and the other didn't so dad had to resolve that issue because sharing is apparently not caring when the switch is involved. needless to say now they both have a copy, they are happy and content. decent price and very speedy delivery, actually same day by surprise, and this dad appreciates it. calm has been restored upon the household.

I bought this as a gift for my son. He has very restrictive interests and this game is a HUGE favorite of his! It came early and he was more than thrilled to get right to it.Would absolutely recommend it to anyone, but especially children that enjoy building/ getting creative, have restrictive interests like my son, or someone that enjoys a survival type game that is more kid friendly with lots of options. I even enjoy playing this game in my 30's!

My son had me purchase this for his switch and he seems to like it. We were excited that Walmart had it available rather than having to order it and wait 3-5 days.

I bought for my daughter, but she would not even try it. I kept it unused for many weeks as I've seen here watching some Minecraft things on her computer, but she would not even look at this item for her Nintendo Switch device. Maybe she doesn't like Switch?

Bought this as a replacement for a lost card; was a bit confused as to why there are two different Minecraft cards on the same game, but with a different cover art, but it's all good because it is the exact same thing, just different art on the game card and case

Kids love this game, but setup is a headache for parents. You will need to set up a Nintendo Switch profile with an Online subscription to play with friends, but the real trouble comes with creating a Microsoft account. Editing their account settings is a nightmare. Furthermore, the game thinks that all your child's account settings are reset every single time you restart the game, so you have to log them out and then back in whenever you launch the game. The game is fun, but I only recommend it for local split screen play. If you want to do cross-platform "Bedrock Edition" play, do it on another platform than Nintendo Switch. The included Mario skin-pack is pretty cool, though.

it works fine but i bought it primarily so i could change the version the game ran on to something a bit older (for nostalgic reasons, i prefer older versions of the game to the current one now) but the way minecraft is designed for the switch, you're not able to revert to a previous version and have to go along with the minecraft updates that are pushed out :/ other than that the game is fine, i just wish i could go back to minecraft 1.21. the game has so many updates now that i can't keep up with all the new stuff and would rather play a version i grew up on

I wish I could give this negative stars. imagine Minecraft, but lan play fails with cryptic messages if you try to play between switch and any non- switch device. imagine you need to pay for Nintendo online to play online, and even then it won't let you join private servers. also it runs incredibly poorly. this game is so hamstrung by issues it's embarrassing. and then there are the bugs. the game never remembers configuration changes. on first boot it just stopped accepting any input until i restarted it. for the sole usecase of playing Minecraft split screen multilayer offline there is the tiniest amount of utility to a very small audience, but still insane that they would release something this bad. Nintendo and Microsoft should both be ashamed.

Got this for the switch for my daughters birthday, she's been wanting it for months. All she wanted to do was play multiplayer with me, and it does NOT even work. Cannot connect to the online mode, cannot split screen, cannot two player. What an absolute complete waste. To watch the excitement and joy leave her face over something she's been wanting to do together. Shame on you Mojang, Nintendo and Minecraft. I'm in my 30s and I can't even figure out how to set this crap up, let alone a 10 year old. Fix it!!!
