Minwax Indoor/Outdoor Helmsman Spar Urethane, Gloss, Clear, 1 Quart

I wanted a thick, hard coating on a sheet of plywood that will live a hard abusive, outdoor life. This stuff is perfect. The first coat went on easily. After 3 hours it was completely dry to the touch. I applied the second coat at the 4-hour point, as stated on the can. It went on easily and created a nice, thick, rock-hard, protective coating. I'm very pleased.

Needed to weather proof our chalkboard signage for our roadside stand... and looking what was available nearby, this was cheaper to order and pick up than in the store. Product went on smooth and dried quickly. Went with a few coats just for more protection from rain and such outside. Happy with product and that it is made for outdoor projects.

I haven't used anything like this before. I had new handrails put on my deck. I sanded them, then used Minwax wood stain, then applied the Helmsman Spar Urethane. It was surprisingly easy to work with. It spread easily, %26 didn't run. It made the wood look beautiful. I'm very happy with this product.

The product provides a nice shine one coat looks pretty good two is better. Be advised there is an odor when you use the product inside. Open your windows if it's a nice enough day or if weather permits, I would recommend finishing outside.

Great stuff. Used for years even indoors. Doesn't yellow and has a UV blocker that helps with sun darkening when things are near a window. Also works on metal and even rusted metal to stop further rusting.

This is a great product especially for exterior use. It is an oil based product therefore it will "yellow" white and very light color painted items. O ther than that it is a wonderful all around product.

in my opinion, this is the best Spar Urethane on the market. The coverage is smooth and consistent. The results are always exceptional.

Covered and applied awesomely. Just what we needed for a little bling.

I ordered 12 cans and when I placed my order it said it would be here the following day. Then get a notice I will get it in over a week. Then the next day I get 2 bags (1) containing 4 cans and the 2nd bag containing 3 cans. notice I said bags containing quart cans, not box's but bags so you can imagine the condition of the quart cans being shipped in bags. then some more cans come in several days and now in a box but no shipping paper and the cans banging into one another and all dented by the time I opened the box. then I finally received one box that was shipped with shipping paper and received without dents on the final batch of the order. so if you were buying and most came all dented would you be giving a 5 star review?
