The soil has the perfect consistency and nutrients to start and maintain your gardening. This soil is great for those who are beginners. I love that the soil is dense but still has a lightness to it. My plants have been thriving since I made the switch.
I really like how everything is included so that all I had to do was put my plant seeds in the soil mixture. It seems real light and I'm not sure how well it will hold moisture but it has been raining lately so I don't think that's going to be a problem. I like how everything is already included and all you have to do is put your plants or your seeds in it and make sure it has moisture. I like that everything's included that you should need to grow a decent miniature crop. I find that if there's a lot of steps to something, that I tend to put off doing things. I was anxious to start this because it didn't seem like it would be a lot of work. LOL
The Miracle-Gro Raised Bed Soil is quality looking soil. It is rich in color. I like the large bag that you get. It was just the size I needed to finish off my new raised bed. It is lightweight yet dense soil that is just what the plants need (I was glad the bag was not too heavy). I could see the nutrients in the soil. I know my plants are going to love it. Miracle-Gro is a brand that I know I can trust to provide a quality product. My plants are doing well in this soil.
This is a very good planting soil. Not too moist out of the bag. Easy to crumble the ‘clumps’ normally found in bags of soil. There seems to be fine mulch or bits of wood within this mix which makes it pour easily from the bag. I used this to fill a planter for my front porch. I recommend this for your outdoor planters as well as any raised beds that you use.
Miracle-gro definitely lives up to its expectations. I have strawberries that it was only roots but within two days plenty leaves and my blueberries and blackberries the leaves are very dark green and healthy. Looking forward to the fruits that these will bear. I recommend this product
I got the miracle grow raised bed soil because it has been our tried & true soil for our plants for years and has never failed us. Years ago, I bought a bag & noticed that it perked up the plants I repotted within days and they looked so healthy & strong. The best part is that it's already pre mixed. No more mixing soils . Miracle grow is always one step ahead and a brand I know I can trust. The colors in my flowers seem more vibrant and they grow quicker with this type of soil too. Its not clumpy or dry. It is healthy, rich perfectly moist soil that you will never be sorry that you chose to use. I highly recommend this!
I put this planting together yesterday afternoon. Unfortunately the neighborhood raccoons found it a fun thing to play with during the night. Their little foot prints were everywhere in the soil and my porch floor. I repaired the damage the best I could. Some plants are broken and blooms are gone, but you can still see the idea. I don't do any flower beds anymore. Too much TLC needed. But I enjoyed buying the plants for this project. I will cover the area tonight with a large Walmart box I use to receive my delivered groceries in. The soil is very nice. Has a lot of organic material in it and should be a perfect home for my plants.
Miracle-Gro Raised Bed Soil is amazing! I have had it for 2-weeks and I’m just a short amount of time, I am already seeing a difference with the growth of the plants. I am not sure why I or how it happens so fast but it did. So, as soon as I received the soil, I removed the soil that was in raised bed and placed the Miracle-Gro brand soil in there. Before, the tomato plant that I have in there was dying and now, it is coming back to life. I am still learning when it comes to plants but I had no idea that the soil makes such a difference. This bag is 1.5 CU FT and was very heavy. It brought a lot to cover a small portion of my raised planter bed. The plant before the Miracle-Gro soil was looking sad, dying and stopped producing. Now that it has the Miracle-Gro soil, it started growing once again, it looks happy, it also has a bunch of tomatoes. This is going to be the soil that I will purchase from here on out and I plan to replace all of my other plants with the Miracle-Gro soil. I highly recommend this soil to anyone trying to grow their plants.
This is great for outdoor use. The soil was dark, rich, and had moisture so it wasn't dried out. It seemed fresh and there is a LOT packed into the bag, it was quite heavy and dense. I thought I was going to use up the whole bag but ended up only needing half. I didn't notice any foreign particles in it but I also wasn't examining it super closely. There were some mulchy type pieces but that is pretty typical for outdoor soil. I did not need it for a raised bed. I wanted it to fill in an area that had poor, sandy soil and I had recently planted some hibiscus bushes.
My vegetables seem like they're straining to grow. Not at all like they claim. Because of the poor quality of soil and poor growth of my vegetables I decided to do some research and found many similar complaints about Miracle Grow soil. The product is not the same as it was a few years ago. The company has begun to add wood chips and fibers as a filler.
