Using this oil in a really big Hustler Zero Turn mower. It is the recommended weight and brand. I like Mobil 1, it was the first truly synthetic oil on the market and has a proven track record. It does a great job of running the hydraulics on the mower and helps to keep things a little cooler. All in all I recommend this product.
I looked on the walmart website and it showed that the oil i wanted was in stock. We made a 40 mile round to pick it up just to find out it wasn't. So I had to order online. That process was very satisfying. The oil showed up 1 day after ordering. So good job on that, not so good at showing something at the store that wasn't available
I along with many of my friends, use this oil in our motorcycles. Unfortunately most Walmart stores do not carry this weight. And the ones that do sell out quickly (go figure). When I find it I always buy several jugs as I have two bikes to maintain. Great oil..71000 miles on my Harley and 51000 on my wifes. Both still run like new
No need to comment on Mobil1 synthetic oil beyond saying it's good stuff. I will comment on the 15W-50 weight specifically as it is one of the few current oils that do not contain Friction Modifiers. This is important for use in motorcycles since motorcycle clutches are bathed in engine oil and oils with Friction Modifiers may cause the clutch to slip. For some reason, Walmart only carries Mobil1 15W-50 in a very few of its larger stores. Unfortunate.
I have used this in my motorcycle for several years, its highly rated and I have no problems with clutch slip, and with 134,000 on the clock it looks like its been good to the bike. When you buy this in quart jugs its about $10 each, making an oil change $40, but buying it in the 5 quart jug cuts the price in half. I have had trouble buying it from Wal Mart as all stores don't carry it, buying it on line, for in store pick up, I know what store is going to have it.
I was using a well known 20w-50 for break-in and just switched to Mobil 1 15w-50. The minute I started my big twin it turned over quicker, was quieter (engine) and seemed smoother (transmission). At this price no reason for Dino oil. Try it, You'll like it!
I have an air cooled sports car that requires Full Synthetic 15W-50 oil. Mobile One is specifically recomended by the Manufacturer. I find the price and availability at Walmart to be the best anywhere, it is not an easy product to find in this weight.
I have a '91 Ducati 900SS that I have found stored for over 20 years in a climate controlled garage under s heave tarp andvup on wheel stands (only 3500 orig Miles)! This 25-yr old classic bike has a dry clutch and is air and oil cooled so it requires a multi-grade high quality motor oil. I did some research and found the Mobile 1 (15W/50) full synthetic to be just what I needed and with a K&N 153 filter the old Ducati is running great. I highly recommend this Oil for bikes with a dry clutch over the high priced "Motoecycle Motor Oil" that has additives for wet clutch bikes - oils for these wet clutch bikes are or needed in dry clutch bikes! Save your money!
I've been using mobil 1 15w50 oil for many, many years, it's proven good quality oil, and as far as I can see, Walmart prices and service can't be beat.
These are GREAT ! when on SALE at $24.97. However , would not pay full price for them. It's cheaper to buy them online than a physical store . FREE SHIPPING.
