YouTube/ Reddit pointed me to this product. I previously assumed you needed the regular wd-40 for this kind of project, but apparently thats for cleaning only. I sprayed all of the door hinges in my house with this product, and it is a game changer.

This is the best white lithium protective spray for chains and wheels. I use it on our entrance gate and the screeching immediately stops and the chain runs perfectly. It leaves no greasy residue like regular chain grease does and doesn't accumulate buildup.

I believe this stuff works. Much easier to apply than the white lithium grease I've used for 50 years. WD-40 is usually pretty good product and I find the same true with this. I need it for the rollers and the cable for my garage door opener, squeaks don't go away entirely, but it does quieted down a little bit so my wife doesn't yell at me every time she opens and closes the garage door.,! The smell of WD-40 doesn't go away. It's been 2 weeks since I've used. The smell is still there as if I just sprayed it on the hinges. Plus it's not easy to spay the WD-40 can.

It worked pretty good on my screeching garage door when closing the first time. But the next day, it did not. Reapplied but didn't help much at all, if any. Waiting for a garage door service person…
