WD-40 Specialist Electrical Contact Cleaner, 11 oz

I had been using another branded cleaner from another store, and never seem to work as well. This worked exactly as I expected, and I was able to get my equipment working. My vox tonelab EX is no longer being manufactured so I need to keep mine working well

This stuff is fantastic for any electrical work. I use this in a saltwater environment. Since I've started using it, my wiring still looks great. The stuff I installed prior to use had to be replaced after 10 years. I've also used it on my boat to great success.

I had a valve cover gasket leak that went for far too long. It ended up dripping oil on a bunch of electrical connectors in the engine bay. I used a couple of cans of this to clean off the plugs and wires one by one so that I could remove the oil and check the plugs for integrity and corrosion. The two spray modes made this a super easy to use to get into tight spaces as well as clean large areas.

I took it apart cleaned, sprayed and put back together. It's worked Better than when I first got it!!

Used it when my cordless drills would start running and then quit. I keep my batteries charged for the little projects in between the big projects. This solved the issues I was having with my tools stoppingintermittently

WD-40 Specialist Electrical Contact Cleaner has been perfect for my needs. Not long ago I had an electrical issue with my Jeep Grand Cherokee where there was no power. Checked all the fuses and found slight corrosion on the contacts, sprayed all the fuses and relays with the contact cleaner and no more problems. There are other electrical contact cleaners but at much higher prices but I am satisfied with WD-40.

I dropped my favorite cordless DeWalt impact driver into 4 feet of water. It was a situation where I could see it in the water but I could not reach it. So it sat there in the water for about 10 minutes before I figured out a way to retrieve it. I heard bubbles as it sank to the bottom. The WD in WD40 stands for Water Displacement. The next day I sprayed this product everywhere in the driver and the 20 volt battery. I let it dry. Attached the battery to the impact driver. Pulled the trigger. Back in business like new.

Easy to use spray contact cleaner. Nozzle works great. But the can rusts quicker than i could use the contact cleaner - that is dissapointing. 3 stars***

I ordered WD Specialist Electrical Contact Cleaner and not WD Specialist contact Contact Cleaner. I hope this one will do the same job

I have always been happy with WD-40 products, but I regret this purchase. It is very hard to open, and all I can do to spray it. It is almost unusable for me.
