I am in love with crafts especially resin molds. This picture frame mold is a fun mold to do. The frame holds a lot of resin so plan accordingly. I used the small 8oz resin and used it all on this product. The mold is very stable and the frame is level. You can add glitter and any paint you want. I love yellow so I added yellow paint to my resin with glitter and I love how it turned out. The frame hold a 5x7 picture. There is no glass with this mold. You have to have your own products to make this mold-resin (a must have), paints, and glitter (if you chose to do so.) The de-mold took place after 24hours and the frame came out of the mold easily. I love making these and they are fun to do with ones for a family too decide colors and artistic direction. I love to do crafts by myself too because it relaxes me. If you have not tried molds yet try them out. I know they look scary but once you do a few you will be a pro!
The plaid frame mold is a great project for people that like to make homemade items, such as, a picture frame. I mixed the resin with the hardener in a clear plastic cup for three minutes. I let the mixture rest for a couple of minutes before pouring it into the mold. I sprinkled colorful glitter on top of the mixture and let it harden. A little under 24 hours later I was able to pop the finished product out of the mold without any breakage. The mold did not come apart and is reusable. I love the results of my homemade photo frame. It looks like something that my daughters would pay good money for, because of all the sparkly glitter.
This is a great silicone frame.Used with Resin . The frame itself is well-made. It’s a really nice size. It has a nice depth to it so if you want to fill it with colorful beads before you pour the resin in, there’s lots of room to put items in to make your frame beautiful. This frame is meant to be used again, and again, you will have many years of service with it.
This mold held up really well. I used it to make a memorial frame. I added into the resin pieces fabric, dried flower, alcohol ink, and ashes. It cured really good and came out perfectly. I've been working with resin for about a year now and have tried different brands. This one is a good one.
This plaid frame mold is wonderful for pouring resin. It has an inner frame portions that you will have multiple layers on your frame giving it a three-dimensional sort of look. It's flexible easy to use yet sturdy enough to last a lifetime. I found it easy to pour holding its shape and easy to release.
This was my first experience with working with resin, and I was a little intimidated. However, this was super simple, and a lot of fun! I designed a frame with shells from a trip, and will put a photo from the same trip, creating a personalized memento. The two part product mixed up easily, and poured into the mold with no issues. There was also no chemical smell, while I was mixing, which I had been concerned about. There are no air bubbles in my project, and I am so excited about how it turned out. Make sure you visit the manufacturer website, noted clearly on the product packaging. It is packed full of helpful tips and inspirational ideas. I am ordering more of this product, so I can get to work on a frame for my best friend!
This is a neat idea to be able to reuse and remake your own picture frame. The frame mold is made of a type of plastic. It comes with the resin that you use for the frame. The directions are very simple, pretty much because the simplicity of actually using the product. Just make sure you have a prepped room/table to use. The stuff can get everywhere if you are not prepared
I have a home childcare and we do lots of crafts. Buying frames can get quite expensive when you have to buy 6 at a time. I love the pliable silicone mold. It’s so easy to fill it with midge podge resin or even plaster of Paris. And it’s easy to remove from the mold and so much fun to decorate
Mold to create your own frame. This mold is used to design and decorate your own frame using resin. You can add flowers or other items into the resin which sets in the mold. Doesn’t take a lot of resin, however not a lot of room to add decorations. You can also add beads, paint or glitter to change the look of the resin.
Thought it was a full photo cover its not it is just the frame. photo will be exposed
