Break Issues
The breaks on this bike do not work. We have attempted to fix them and have even taken it to a bike shop to have the breaks fixed, as they do not stop the bike. TREK was unable to fix the breaks and stated that there was too much flexibility in the break lines for the breaks to actually function properly. A neighbor purchased the same bike for her daughter and her bike has the same problem. Do not buy this bike!!
