This insect killer is one of my favorite products for controlling caterpillars in the garden. I use it primarily on vegetables, and it works especially well against hornworms and other leaf-eating caterpillars that can quickly damage tomato plants and other crops. The ready-to-use spray bottle makes application simple. I just spray the affected plants, paying attention to the tops and undersides of the leaves where caterpillars tend to feed. Because it specifically targets caterpillars and worm-type pests, it doesn't have the broad impact on beneficial insects that many traditional insecticides do. It's safe to use on vegetables, fruits, and ornamentals, and it can be applied up to the day of harvest when used according to the label instructions. Overall, this is an effective and environmentally friendly product that I keep on hand throughout the growing season. If you're dealing with hornworms, cabbage worms, or other caterpillar pests, this is an excellent organic option that works while still being gentle on beneficial insects and pollinators.
Worked great. Caveat: I'm not sure how or if this product affects bees. It definitely worked on killing cabbage moths but after I used it, I got concerned about bees. Please research that question before using this product. I used this on my new Butterfly Bush which cabbage moths were destroying. The plant recovered from all the damage (many holes in its leaves). Next year I may try purchasing lady bugs to try to remedy the moth larvae problem. But I will also research whether or not this product is harmful to bees and whether the chemical ends up in the flowers (the chemical is sprayed on leaves). This year it saved my plant....
Monterey BT Spray is essential to use on my petunias. This helps to prevent little bud worms from eating holes in the flowers.
I had bud worms chomping away at my petunias, but this spray did the job. Those worms never stood a chance. They are gone and my petunias are starting to bloom again. Love this product!!
This is my first year gardening. This product came highly recommended...Glad I tried it.
only product that has worked on hemp moths 100% satisfied
Tough to rate as just used products and not sure the effectiveness yet.
This spray seems to be working, as the caterpillar feces is no longer showing up. I would recommend buying and having it shipped at cooler temperatures, as it's a bacteria and could die during very hot weather.
This spray bottle is a pain in the rear. I would get a concentrate and a gallon sprayer instead.
product received 5 days late and received item empty of its contents. The package has been put into a box after shipment, obviously a known damage issue, because the inner ups envelope had liquid in it but none on outside box and product was completely empty.
