PUR PLUS Faucet Mount Water Replacement Filter Cartridge, RF99993, 3 Pack

I live 1%261/2 blocks from the Mississippi and son't use it for our drinking water however, our water towers are both 50-100 feet above our village the wells used do have the possibility of fertilizer seeping iinto our water supply. The village introduces chlorine into the holding tanks to take care of the possible fertilizer and birds sitting atop the tanks. PUR filters give us great tasting water and wonderful coffee with NO remnent of chlorine or anyother taste. Easy installation!

I've tried many filters over the years and the Pur filter is by far the best and better value that I've used. It's easy to attach and use. The replacement filters aren't too expensive and they're easy to replace. The water improvement is fantastic! Any metallic or chlorine taste is gone and you get clean pure water.

Good quality product. They work well. Installation is fairly easy. When inserting them into the faucet units. Make sure the button for the light indicator is popped out. if not, you need to use a blunt object to get it going. It sometimes gets stuck. When it does get stuck the light indicator will give you a red light instead of green. And you will have to remove it again.

They have changed the filter style ("updated" )from the one they have been using for years. After installing the updated filter and runinng it initially for 10 min. (as per instructions) it continued to come out black for the first 2 seconds each time we wanted filtered water. Tried the second filter in the same pack with the same result. Called PUR and they asked me to send the bad filters back, (PUR prepaid FedEX) which I did. PUR sent me two new filters via FedEx; so far so good with the new ones. So it might have just been a bad batch. PUR had great customer service though to remedy the problem. I put a yes to recommend, but the verdict is still out regarding the new filter style. PUR will make good on any defective filter though, hence the recommedation.

mine dont last 3 months as they advertise. abd u dont use that much water. i returned this ine st $27. thinking it was wrong because the design was different. aent back and the price was up to $39 on the shelf for this less plastic design. so disapointing!

Initially, filtered water flows thru at an acceptable pace. With continued use (far less than the 3 month supposed shelf life), filtered water slows to a painfully slow trickle. I actually counted the seconds to fill up a 16 cube, normal sized ice cube tray... 4 seconds per cube, equalling 1 minute and 4 seconds. 64- Mississippis long, lol. It's like having a Brita water filter, all over again.

Pur has changed the designed and it's not worth it anymore. If it's not broken it shouldn't be “tinkered” with. Mine now leaks after installing this (new %26 improved) version. Who couldn't get it out before???? It wasn't a hard thing to do!!! We weren't crawling under a house to get it!!! I'll just but a knock of or switch to something else. I'm PURfectectly happy doing that.

These new Pur faucet filter replacements are awful! Now it takes forever to fill a cup of water because the low flow of water that comes out of these. We don't know if to return them or use them BUT WE ARE FORE SURE CHANGING TO A DIFFERENT BRAND after.

I've been using the PUR Plus water filter for years. Each of the last three 3-pack of filters I've bought has had a filter that only flows at a slow trickle. The latest one I videoed would only run for a minute before the stream died altogether. It took 30 minutes to fill a 1 gallon pitcher.

We have used the Pūr Plus faucet filters for several years after trying other competitors. It used to be the best tasting, best functionality and best flow rate out of all we tried. That is not the case anymore with these updated and "improved" filters. First thoughts when I opened and saw the new look was that it looks cheap. Cheaper plastic and lighter. It was covered in filter debris and just looked bad. Worst parts: - Water taste is awful, immediately can tell a decrease in quality and infiltration. - The absolute worst flow rate ever! It literally takes two minutes to fill up a normal drinking glass. It never took that long before, I never even thought to time it because it just worked and was fast. Final thoughts: I will be looking to get a refund and I will be looking at other systems. If they go back than great but this is a waste of time and money and they have lost a customer if it continues like this
