PUR PLUS Faucet Mount Water Filtration System, Horizontal, Black/Chrome, PFM200B

So simple right out of the box. I just unscrewed my faucet screen tip, removed any washer residue, took the filter out of the box, assembled it, then screwed it onto my faucet. Run cold water through the filter setting for a couple of minutes, Voila! You're done!

I waited way too long to get a faucet filter. I wish I'd of done it much sooner. i noticed a difference in the taste of my drink powder mixes and coffee immediately. I have arthritic hands and I was able to do this on my own with little problem. easy to flip feom filter to faucet. light indicator for filter. overall extremely satisfied. I haven't changed the filter yet, but I don't anticipate any problems there.

I orginally had a vertical white unit the light eventually went out so I wanted another one. It did need a lot of detail cleaning as it got older around the seams. We tried the horizontal in chrome. It looks so nice and the new design doesn't get in your way and it looks way less invasive on the faucet. The light is bigger and that's nice too. It didn't need any attachment piece it twists on to the faucet instead of clicking on like the verticle old style. Very nice water filter and all filters interchange so you can upgrade and use your filter that still has life in it if you change.

Where I live I can smell the chlorine in my water. I have been using Pur water filter for many, many years. I am not fond of the water pitchers because it is a pain to fill up all the time. This is right on your faucet and is easy to install and use. I had to get a new one only because the light went out the other one I had for about 5 years. I say that is not bad for how inexpensive they are. I would highly recommend. My dog and plant approve too.

The product is made of cheap plastic. It is a good product and made well. Plastic does not rust, the item looks easy on the eyes and is easy to install. My installed took about 3 minutes to look over the instruction manual and 2 minutes to install the unit. When switching from filtered to regular water flow unfiltered, the unit has a slight de mounted leaver style switch. Easy to turn and would work for any age person from child to senior citizen. The Water tastes clean and it is nice that the item has a hydro powered led light filtration system. Basically the water 🚿 runs at first start up illuminating a led to identify when to replace the filter on the unit. Review summary: Basically the item is a good value for your money and easy to use. This is probably my 4th or 5th filter. They tend to last 3 to 4 years with regular use and maintenance. Since using this filter, I have saved so much money not having to buy water constantly. I was always stockpiling water because I drink over 74ozs a day so a case would only last me a couple days. This filter is a game changer. Whether I'm cooking, staying hydrated or keeping my house plants hydrated, I turn my faucet filter on. I use this filter for my water with everything and it matches my kitchen perfectly. I have even convince a few friends and my sister and nieces to buy one of these and they love theirs. Just make sure you get the one that screws on as an attachments and not just snaps on.

Wish I had found this three years ago. Our well water tastes like metal. Had it looked at and 'salesman' wanted $5K to put in an elaborate water filtration system. We rent. I'm not spending that kind of money on someone else's house. So, we drank bottled water, but not that's taboo because of plastic. Geez! Did a Google Search and learned about PUR water filters for the kitchen faucet. Ordered one, $35 total, and installed it in minutes. It would have been seconds, but I am not that quick. Bingo, bango, water tastes pure with no pollutants you can taste. Looks clear, makes better coffee, makes better drinking water, and just makes life better. Replace filter every two months, and a years worth of filters was $25. Could not ask for more value and peace of mind. Thank you PUR.

Product includes multiple adapters for different sink types and installation is really straight forward. Water tastes great. It would be a five star review except for the fact that the indicators lights were DOA. Looked up some info on it, tried a couple of the things people suggested to get them working, but no luck. Kinda put a damper on the experience when an aspect of the product just straight up doesn't work directly out of the box.

Not impressed. The light that tells you the filter needs replaced doesn't work after just 2 months. The filter needed replaced according to the light (while it worked) after 3 weeks. They claim it should last about 3 months. I'm not sure how they came up with "avg use" because they list "approximate gallons". My dogs drink nearly 2 gallons a day, and the township water has chemicals the has leeched into it from farm run-off. Filters are going to get pricey only lasting 3 weeks, and now I have to guess when to replace them.

I ordered this about 3 or 4 months ago, and still upset about it because what Walmart did was apparently someone had brought it back, cuz it had broke and when I ordered it they shipped it to me so I never got to even try it. I had to call Walmart sit on the phone for 20 minutes to let them know that I received a return from somebody and it was broken when I got it. sometimes it's not worth trying to even get your money back!
