I have been using these on my Pur faucet mount system because they are less expensive and work very well. Buying 6 packs saves me money and lasts for a year.
The filters are a great value since they are not the name brand recommended for the water filter that I purchased. They do fit and are just as good as the name brand that I first used for my current water filter. They do make the water taste better than just drinking it from spigot itself. I highly recommend these filters because the water tastes better and they are also easy on my bank account.
Have not used them yet but they are half the price of the name brand. Hopefully they will work the same but when it comes to water filters, who knows.
Good product at a good price
these were bought as a gift for my nephew he says the package is as cheap as buying one filter
It is an economical success but it seems to flow twice as fast as the PUR filter. I am wondering if it is not filtering as well and the PUR. I just don't know yet.
i just received them and I haven't opened them yet, I would like to make a connect on that alone, you all me how I like products that I purchase but you always ask before I've tried them so how can I give you a good review when I haven't tried the products yet, maybe give me a will or so before asking, just an idea???
I was hoping this cheaper version of Pur's water filters would do as good as or better than the original filters, but Aqua Crest's filters definitely don't keep the water tasting good for nearly as long. Let the water set for a couple of hours in a drinking glass and it tasted something like wet cardboard. Pur filters never (in many years) had a poor aftertaste after the water had set for a short while. Yes, the promo is correct, though - water flows much faster and more forcefully but that would likely because there's less filtration. I had to find out and I'm certainly sorry I have five more Aqua Crest filters to run through. The filters last for maybe a few weeks before the aftertaste sets in (as described). Pur filters lasted several months without that downside. Slower flow, but much longer lasting and good tasting even when sitting for many hours! So, it's a disappointment and basically a waste of money despite the lower cost. The filters fit fine and everything works otherwise but it's really the taste and performance that consumers really desire.
Not too sure if these are working properly. The ones that came with my unit made the water come out MUCH slower. The water comes out SO fast with these filters I wonder if they are working properly.
These are a cheap knockoff of Pur filters. The lonest I can get one to last is 23 days. The Pur filters have always been good for at least 2 months. Not a good value, not worth getting.
