Extra-Firm Tofu, 12.3 Oz
It came and looked exactly as expected. I have to say I ruined my General Tsao's Recipe as I used a cast iron skillet and the coating stuck to the bottom of the pan. I will try again with a steel frying pan next time. Practice makes perfect!

A staple for your shelf
We always have this on the shelf for meals. Was difficult to locate for a bit, but stocks are back thankfully.

Lasts way longer than refrigerated tofu
I cook a lot of tofu but had never used a shelf-stable tofu before - I usually buy the refrigerated and packed in water version from the store. I loved how this tofu lasts for much much longer than the refrigerated version. I also really liked that it was packed in much less water, it made the tofu easier to open and I feel like it had absorbed less water which makes it easier to flavor. The texture was interesting: it was a lot smoother than what I was used to. It cooked just the same as any tofu I've used! I am an associate of Walmart.com and I received this item as a sample in exchange for a review.

The individual packages are difficult for me to open but am assured because they are sealed so well. This product takes a little longer to arrive but knowing it will you can plan about when to purchase.

Great product for vegan/ vegetarian recipes
Im vegetarian and cant always find tofu at the bargain store where I shop .I love that I can buy it in bulk at Walmart.com

This is not as firm as other Tofu I"ve used but overall, it's still very good to use.

Don't forget the shipping cost!
I love shelf stable tofu and so I was pleased to find this product - especially in these difficult times but buyer beware - the shipping cost is the almost the same as the purchase price - it is great to have in your pantry but remember that it is double the price!!!

Tofu Cheese Extra Firm
I'm vegan so Tofu Cheese is a staple in my daily diet routine. It's the first time in 25 years since I follow a vegan diet that I “stumbled” upon a Tofu Cheese claiming to be Extra Firm but in reality being Extra SOFT. I like ONLY Extra FIRM Tofu cheese. As anyone can imagine, I won't ever buy Tofu Cheese from Walmart. com.
