I bought this item because of it being 25 lbs. I wanted to buy salt in bulk. I have meat preserving to do and this is the most economical way to do so. The shipping was quick and the packaging was good. The quality of the salt is great! No complaints. Will buy from Walmart again.

Multi Use - Saves my Pet's Paws
So I bought this in the Winter for Multi use. Of course for the normal salt taste, to refill. Yet, the 25lb bag to use lightly on my path, steps %26 porch. it is more gentle than rock salt for the stray cats I feed.

Why I bought a large quantity.
This is edible "table salt." I give my horses loose salt in their diets, as opposed to a salt lick because both of them tend to "overdo," their salt licks, which means they get too much salt, and in turn, drink too much water. This way, I can control their salt intake a little better with a morning daily dose.
