I read the reviews and decided to go for it. I have NO doubt it is 100% honey. A thing to know is that honey varies a lot depending on may factors to including the type of flowers the bees are working and I guess even the kind of bee. The container doesn't tell us what part of the world the honey comes from, so there is that. Anyway, it is on the thin side but, to me, in the range of other honey I have "experienced". The flavor is on the bland side but it is sweet and works fine on my biscuits. I haven't had it long but see no issues with crystallization. So, for sweetening, recipes, and general use it's a good product.
If you are like me, I have no time, desire or even know how to have my own bees hive ......this product is definitely the next best thing without all the trouble %26 mess %26 you don't even have to go to the store and get it, they will even delivery it to your house for free :) :) that makes me happy....excellent taste, excellent product, excellent price...highly recommend
We use honey in everything. I bought this and it lasted a whole week (normally I have to buy honey 3 times a week). It has an amazing flavor. I love it in my coffee, on pancakes. My kods love it in their yogurt. $17 for all this honey is totally worth it.
Solid honey for a good price. The bottle is big but not as big as I expected so it’s still easy to store. Be careful though, the cap is about the size of a half dollar and so is he whole, so I’d suggest just cutting out a small part of the foil to prevent over pouring.
It has good honey Flavor and the price is right. I would rather buy local honey but at double the price not worth it. Honey is the only sugar in my house, I use it every morning in my tea
Not sure why people do not think this is real honey. I have been eating all kinds honey for around 6 decades and I assure you it is real honey. It is thinner but it is not watered down. Filtering makes it cleaner, i.e., removing wax, dead bee parts, air bubbles, etc.-though I guess bee parts would give it more protein? And it supposedly slows down crystallization, which is a waste of time. Honey always crystalizes when it gets down to a certain temperature. It is NOT ruined. Just set the bottle in a bowl of warm water, sink full of warm water, or hold it under warm/hot running water. The best way to keep it from ever crystalizing, is to set it on top of the refrigerator so that the little bit of warm air that comes out from the back of the fridge will keep it warm. I have done that for 2-3 decades and it works like a charm! Only annoying part about that, is I have to move it and several things to get the cabinet door above the fridge open, but like I said, several things have to be moved, so again, no biggie. Honey always tastes different depending on what type of nectar the bees eating and the type of pollen they are harvesting. Even if it's the same colony, the taste and thickness of honey can and will change. Only way to keep it consistent would be to keep them in a huge net cage, with a constant supply of your favorite flowers and feeding them a specific nectar all the time. lol Now, with all that said, I am more of a clover honey lover and only certain wildflower honeys are good to me. I am not a big fan of orange blossom or certain kinds of wild flower production because it's too "floral" for me, almost like perfume. I bought this because it was a great price and I do go through a lot of honey. I only wish I could have bought a sample size bottle first, because I would not have wanted this much had I known the flavor profile. But, nonetheless, it's great to help control coughing when you are ill and it works in my green smoothies that need a little bit of sweetness. But, I do not want this honey plain. I guess I can continue buying this (as long as they don't raise the price) for smoothies and then get a smaller bottle of my Fischer raw unfiltered honey (blue bottle) that I will reserve for coffee, toast, sandwiches, or anything else where honey will be the star of the show. P.S. Do NOT fall for "organic" honey. It's is a 100% GIMMICK! Bees ARE wild, free-range foragers so there's NO way to tell them they are ONLY allowed to eat from the organic flowers!!! No more than you can tell them they can only gather from a specific kind of flower. We have a honey taste preference, right? Well, bees have taste preferences, as well. You could have a great big clover patch nearby and a few little guys go crazy for coneflowers across the way. I can see it now, bigger bees with hats, badges, billy clubs, whistles, flying around patrolling..."Get back on this side of the field or I'll throw you in the ice box!" RIGHT!!!
Removing pollen through filtration does significantly change the honey's nutritional profile. look it up people, which is why we buy it to have a natural healthy sweeter. We might as well be using regular sugar since all the main elements of the honey are removed. Also not there is a lot of blended and fake honey so be careful when you buying.
I purchased an 80 oz bottle thinking it would last me for a while. When I opened it and used it for the first time since the purchase I tasted it (I always take a little taste of honey when I use it because it's so fun to have a little taste!), and it tasted very strange, kind of like the packaging. I've contacted the distributor several times via their contact form and then finally tried LinkedIn but no response whatsoever. I tried a taste again the other day just to be sure and it still has that weird taste so I guess I'm just going to dump it and get something else. I'm very disappointed in the whole experience.
Folks, I know what honey taste like; we all do. Regardless of which natural honey you buy it has a certain tang or flavor that only honey has. Now, I am not doubting that this is actual honey because it does state in the ingredients that it comes from several sources around the world and then is no doubt mixed into this concoction as 100% honey. If this were not a fact it would not have got past the FDA. Or at least I wouldn't think so. However, if I didn't know any better, I would swear it's corn syrup. I'm going back to my expensive honey. It goes a long way anyway and therefore is worth every penny you pour into it. No more cheap stuff for me. As mom taught me as a child: you get what you pay for.
This was not honey, this was all dried up crispy, crunchy, flakes. Poor quality, spoiled, Why did they even deliver this poor quality item. It was not in a smooth form, but rocks.
