I have used this product since I was 21 years old. I am now 65 years old and still continue to use this great product. I know people with the high blood pressure should not use any salt at all however, our father told us that a very young age and that would be when I was 21 to use this light salt so it's an awesome product. Thank you.
I was pleased that the taste of this salt was much, much better than a salt substitute I tried long ago. It does have some sodium which is fine with me, but I think it is about half the amount of table salt. It has the added benefit for me of the potassium and iodine. The iodine per volume would be about half of what you get in pure iodized table salt, which is good for me since stronger concentrations can seem bitter to me. This Morton low sodium salt tastes good to me.
I'm backing off salt/sodium and I tried this as soon as I could taste it on cherry tomatoes and it really good. This does not mean you can add more salt to your diet but to simply curb your salt intake so use this sparingly. I know that is easier said than done for us who love salt but as long as I get just a little salt flavor I'm good. I've tried the “NO SALT”…seriously just don't eat any salt. That product taste like that meat tenderizer it is awful, but that's just me. I've tried more different salts in the last two weeks than you can imagine.
I use salt in my veggie my steak my potatoes in the ingredients when I'm cooking my chicken making my eggs in my rice. I use it for everything a little bit of sort and this is the only kind of sort I use when I'm cooking.
I started using Morton Lite Salt when I was told my potassium count was low and sodium count was high. So glad I found it... My numbers have been good ever since...
I've used this salt for several years in all my cooking. I believe this is a hidden, healthy, ingredient overlooked. This will season all your food just like regular salt with less sodium. Also use Dash seasonings.
Although it took a long time to arrive due to the circumstances of the days we live in right now, it did arrive in perfect condition. I am most grateful to be able to have staple items delivered to my home because I am an elderly person and it limits time I would otherwise have to spend in a store.
Wanting to eat healthier I decided to try this for my husband and I. He couldn't tell the difference nor do the kids complain when they visit. It's a win win for all of us. There's already to much sodium in our foods, etc. Will never go back to regular salt.
It was what I wanted and needed as my husband and mom are both on low sodium diets. It would just be nice to be able to pick it up when I do my regular shopping as it is NOT carried in the store. I do NOT like having to order online if I don't have to.
Box was opened and empty. Called Walmart who processed credit. Bad packaging as box was flimsy and there was no packaging material in box. PO did apologize for the damage to the shipment.
