MD wants me on a low sodium diet. This salt has less sodium as it substitutes potassium for sodium.. Label states 50% less sodium than regular salt. And extra potassium is good for some of us. Laurie

For me, this is more of a potassium supplement replacement than just table salt. There is more potassium in this product than sodium. Lyle McDonald talks about this stuff.

Ever since I use this salt with 50% less sodium, I will never use another. It taste like regular salt and you're only getting half of the sodium. You gotta give it a try.

I am on my second container of this reduced sodium salt. It does taste pretty close to the real thing and I don't by myself using too much of it to compensate. I have high blood pressure and this is a very good thing to add at the dinner table to help the cause.

I use this all the time.Im on a low salt diet cant eat fully salted chips,crackersnuts etc.With this lite salt,i dont swell up can breath,no problems.

I like salt. I've been told to use a low sodium salt and I've been using Morton for as long as I know. Perhaps you need light salt use Morton's low sodium.Morton lite salt!

I'm backing off salt/sodium and I tried this as soon as I could taste it on cherry tomatoes and it really good. This does not mean you can add more salt to your diet but to simply curb your salt intake so use this sparingly. I know that is easier said than done for us who love salt but as long as I get just a little salt flavor I'm good. I've tried the “NO SALT”…seriously just don't eat any salt. That product taste like that meat tenderizer it is awful, but that's just me. I've tried more different salts in the last two weeks than you can imagine.
