Morton Salt Water Softener Clean and Protect® Pellets, 25 lb. Bag

The salt is the same I use in my water softener. I like that it is sold in 25 lb bags for us people that can't lift the 40 lb bags. It was not packaged well %26 box looked like it went through the war. Needed stronger box %26 better packaging.

I am pleased that I can receive the softener salt in the lighter weight of 25 lbs. Shipments arrived on time in good condition.

I'm so glad Walmart is carrying the 25 lb bags of water softener. The 40 lb bags are too heavy for me to carry downstairs and then lift to put in my water softener. These work great and I have them delivered to eliminate picking them up multiple times.

Prefer the 40lb bag but the 25lb is easier to handle as I get older. Walmart's price is the best in the area and I have actually ordered it for pick up one time before. In fact, it is the only thing I have ever ordered for pick to reduce personal handling time.

I use this in my whole home water soften system in north DFW. I like that these are the 25lbs bags rather than the bigger 40 or 50lbs. They cost a bit more per pound, but they're still not expensive and I can lift them easily and dump them in the tank

I participated several years ago in a discussion panel. The topic was water softener salt. It was a hands-on panel, where participants not only discussed their reasons for choosing the salt they purchased, but also got to try current tear-open bags, different kinds of handles on bags, and comment on design of the bags. I suggested in this panel that the salt producers make handles that are easy on the fingers, because the typical 40# bag was hard on the fingers when carrying any distance. Another suggestion I made was a more friendly type of handle. I even provided a sketch of what I thought would be a good handle design. Lastly I recommended that the salt manufacturers provide salt in two 20-LB bags for the same price as a single 40-LB bag--for older users and those who lack the strength to lift the 40 pounds of dead weight. It seems that Morton adopted these in their 25-LB bags, although the price is still about 75 percent of a 40-lb bag. Still I appreciate the smaller bags, and the easy-lift handle. It is the price only that results in my not giving it 5 stars.

The bag came with tape and missing half of the salt. Inside was only like 12 lbs

some bags were open.

I ordered six 25lbsbags of mortons salt pellets,I recieved 1 bag and do not know it I need to reorder or if they out. Sometimes simple works like being able to see my recent purchase. Chat bots are a joke and lately for this to be able to work correctly stick with common sense.
