Mountain Bike Assembly

I prepaid for assembly. The bike was delivered. I have absolutely no information about where to take it for assembly. I wish the bike had been delivered to the assembly place. The bike weighs a ton, and it is meant for elderly people, which I am, so I cannot lift it. I asked for my money back on the assembly par, which is around $130.00. If I could give it no stars, I would have but that was not an option. Also, there is no book or any written information whatsoever with the bike. Which is another headache. I need instructions on how to use all the features.

The person that was supposed to do the bike Assembly never arrived. Therefore, I assembled the bike myself. It was not that difficult but I did have help. Angi informed me that they would be contacting Walmart and that I would be getting a refund. As of right now, I have not seen where the refund has been credited to my account. It would be nice if Walmart had a way to let people know what to do when this service does not work well. Angi never showed up to put the bike together. Twice they done this. So I cancelled the assembly with them and returned the bike back to Walmart. I got credit for the bike. I need credit for the assembly charge. Angi told me they do not refund that Walmart does. Walmart tells me that they do not refund Angi does. I need credit back for $135.00 on the assembly.

I purchased the professional assembly offered my Walmart through Angie's list . They connected me with a “ professional “ bike assembler the day after the bike arrived at my house . The only time they were available was 6 pm . A guy shows up at 5 pm and is unable to speak English and just points to his phone to let me know he is to assemble the bike . I was skeptical but showed him the bike in the box to assemble. He worked on the bike for about 20 minutes and then handed me a box of left over parts and the tools that came with the bike for assembly. The bike was for my daughter as a birthday present. My daughter took the bike out and said it was difficult to ride and that the front brakes did not work properly . I looked over the bike after she tried to ride it and realized that the front wheel did not spin freely. After looking over the assembly instructions I realized that some of the parts left in the box were critical to the bikes assembly. I called Angie's list and asked for them to send another person , a “ professional “ to assemble the bike .. they asked me to provide a day and time that would work for me .. none of those time worked for them ..so asked them to tell me a day and time .. they again only had 6 pm as the earliest time and several days later . This was a birthday gift for my daughter and I really did not want to wait several days . I asked if they could refund my $ 99 dollars , they said they would . Still have yet to see the refund and I have a bike that does not work , and a disappointed child . I would not recommend this service

Assembly man needs a personality. He rushed through the assembly. Didn't even notice that the front wheel was damaged upon delivery. Had to bring the bike back for a refund to find out we could of just taken the bike home assembled already. Assembly package is a waste of money.

I would give this product zero stars.. the seller is horrible to work with. He ignored my emails for a month sent us a product with a defective back tire didn't replace. It knows that we paid out-of-pocket at a bike shop to have it repaired. It's not offering to make it better. Send us a defective charger. The metal prong fell out so we can charge the bike. Is unresponsive and refusing to answer my emails and texts. This is a SCAM! DO NOT BUY

Not worth the money. We were able to assemble the bike on our own three days prior to the scheduled service (which we did not schedule - it was done for us by Angi's List). However, when I asked for the installation fee to be refunded AL said it was Walmarts responsibility and of course Walmart Customer Service said it was the responsibility of AL. So I'm out $59.

Never received. I paid an extra $135 for bike to get assambled and it never did, i am still waiting to hear back from customer service to get refunded .I will update this review when i hear back from customer service. But as of right I would not recommend.

My appointment was cancelled 3 times by angi, because they had noone to come at those times. Finally I cancelled and asked for my money back. The professionalism was absolutely horrid. I WOULD NEVER SUGGEST TO ANYONE TO USE ANGI FOR ANYTHING.!!!!!!!!!!! we waited and were excited for them to come. Then they didn't come. Each tome THEY made the appointment. And I still haven't received my money back.

Don't waste your money we bought this bike w weeks ago and can't assemble it bc it is missing a part. When I go to file a return claim it sends me to an overseas company and can't get a response from them. So Walmart won't accept the return and company isn't responding
