The first ordered bike came in very bad shape but the customer service representative really took the issue as important because I am missing to present the bike to my kid on his birthday, he took special care and the replacement came one day early…Thanks to customer service representative..my kid was very happy

I bought this as a birthday gift for an adult son and he was so pleased with it. He knows his bikes using them as a primary mode of transportation as he has no car. He was happy with all aspects of the bike. He told me it was the best ride he has had on a bike.. I am just pleased that my birthday gift turned out so well. Thank you!

Actually bought for someone who was mugged at night stealing his bike, phone and money. My husband got it for one of his workers. The guy had tears in his eyes - hope those same guys dont get him again. Its rough around here because of the pandemic.

I like the bike a lot but the only problem I have is the brakes... I've adjusted them a bunch of times and they just don't work properly... so I might have to buy a different bike

Great looking bike, good value for the money IF you're willing to make adjustments yourself or pay to have it adjusted professionally. The bike arrived damaged, which was evident by the rear derailer protruding through a hole in the box! Submitted a warranty claim right away which was a fairly easy process, but unfortunately would have to wait 3-4 weeks for the replacement part. Got it, installed it, gears did not shift properly. Brakes were not adjusted properly (one pad was completely missing). Decided to pay the local bike store to tune it up. $70 later and it all works perfectly. Looks good too with the new matching bike seat I bought from Amazon (west racing), bike lock, phone holder, and bar ends. Happy so far I've got a sweet looking bike for under $250. This bike is HEAVY, not like the Mongoose bike my wife has, this is solid steel, not chrome alloy / aluminum. For those who are looking for a casual bike to ride a few times a months and doesn't mind turning a wrench a little I think its a good buy.

Given the Corona virus situation, it's not quite the ideal time to be writing this review as I haven't yet been able to get in touch with either Walmart nor Kent support to get their feedback and support to resolve yet. But hopefully it's worthwhile for readers to note what I have come across. During assembly, I'm noticing that the rear derailleur hanger is bent towards the rear wheel to the point where the derailleur cage is not just touching the wheel spokes but actually preventing the wheel from rotating. The hanger's bend does not appear to me to be by design, but there are no visual signs of damage during shipping or delivery. The carton box was damaged and had holes but not in the area of the derailleur. It doesn't appear to me that the limit screws can be used to adjust the derailleur for this degree of misalignment. See photo with highlighted area. I am waiting to receive feedback from Walmart and/or Kent on how to address this, hopefully without having to return the whole bike back to Walmart. I have only assembled the front wheel, pedals, and handlebar. The brake cable and seat still remain. The bike is sitting in my hallway. If I'm able to update this review, I'll do so after receiving a response from Walmart and/or Kent.

I bought a mountain bike. It was reassembled. While riding it for the very first time, my rear detailer came off got stuck in the spokes of the rear tire. It stopped me in mY tracks face first into the asphalt In fro t of oncoming traffic. I am highly highly upset at this point in time

The bike arrived late, after the tracking said it was in my town for three days. The box was damaged like if it had been used to pile stuff on top of it. It was also taped up as if it had already been opened. The hole that the handle bars slide into was damaged. It wasn't round on one side and it looked as if someone had been beating on the side of it with a hammer. I had to use lots of force to get the handle bars on there and it will never come back off. It's very noisy, I may have to soak the whole thing in oil. The shifting knob on the left side is very hard to turn. I'm keeping the bike so I can update and/or edit my review in thirty days. If the bike had already been sold to someone else I should get a discount for receiving a used bike. If it had not been sold to anyone else and is in fact new. Then they should get new assembly workers because the ones they have are destroying the products. So far I do not recommend this bike. Dr.Ray~Product reviewer..

Would’ve been a great bike to ride but unfortunately it isn’t designed correctly because when I was riding it the second day I got it the brake line on the back wheel got caught with the chain and snapped the mount of the chain on the back wheel. Not okay with the purchase had to return.

Catastrophic failure of the derailer after 8 months, conveniently just after the 6 month warranty. The derailer made contact with the wheel spokes and both it and the wheel were damaged. The derailed is unsalvageable and the wheel had several spokes ripped out. I would recommend against Kent brand moving forward.
