Mr. Coffee 5-Cup Programmable Coffee Maker

This little thing is a good value -- for a low price, you can wake up to a couple of good-sized mugs of coffee. It's easy to set up and program. The only negative comment I'd add is w/r/t the design: it seems to emit a lot of steam during the brewing process. So expect about 1/3 cup less brewed coffee than you plan for when filling the water tank. Also, place the unit away from anything that might be harmed by repeated exposure to steam escaping from the top of the water compartment.

I had an older version of this by Mr. Coffee and it was always reliable. I accidentally broke the glass so I ordered this one. They improved the design of the glass container and it is easier to pour now due to a widened mouth and being more cylindrical. It works as great and I highly recommend this great product. They also improved the programmable timer on it and it is so easy to set it. You will not be disappointed with this product.

I normally buy the cheaper Mainstays coffee maker, but chose Mr. Coffee this time because I wanted to set a controlled timer so that my coffee/tea is ready for me when I arise in the morning. With life seemingly getting more complicated, sometimes it is the tried and true purchases that can make one's day-to-day living that much easier. Very happy I chose this particular coffeemaker. Such value. Slick appearance too.

This is a very nice and convenient coffee maker for the price. It makes 5 cups of coffee at a time. It's extremely easy to use. The program feature for delayed brewing is very convenient. It's small and compact and it's perfect for small kitchens. While brewing, is very quiet. It's also very efficient and brews 5 cups of coffee in no time. I honestly couldn't be happier with this coffee maker.

I bought this one after my single serve coffee maker died after just four months. I’m glad I did, no more expensive k cups. The pot is just right for two cups and I set it up before bed so in the morning all I have to do is push one button. I love how it looks and fits on my counter top.

I have had many Mr. Coffee 5 cup makers over the years, and they never fail me. When making your choice, be sure to buy the programmable Mr. Coffee 5 cup maker, not the switch only. The programmable one is about, at last check,$ 10.0/dollars less in cost than the one with only the switch on/off.

I have been using this kind for years, i moved and tossed my old one away it was like 5 years had another Mr. coffee before that one old still worked perfect don't know why i threw it away so i got the same one after i tried a 100 dollar Brawn Peace of crap went back to old faithful

Negative: • The instructions say, "Don't press 'brew' if there is no water in the water tank." So, that means I can't use this coffee maker to reheat coffee? • Has to stay plugged in all the time, or you have to reset the clock constantly. Not sure how much electricity it uses just for the clock. Positive: • Shuts off after 2 hours, automatically • No-dribble pour from pitcher • Programmable – walk to the gurgle and the smell of freshly brewed coffee!

The top flips to the left which makes it difficult for me to use. (I am left-handed.) The water dispenser is much too close to the basket which oftentimes causes the filter to fold over resulting in grounds in the pot. This definitely calls for a redesign. I would only recommend this to someone I don't like.

First of all, I put 5 tablespoon of coffee that was to much. It overflowed. I tried 3 tablespoons then 3 teaspoons, it overflowed. As long as you don’t put more than 3 cups of water in the reservoir and maybe 3 teaspoons of coffee it won’t overflow. By that time something in it broke, a piece of plastic or something.
