My first watercolor brush came in a paint set %26 has a shorter handle which I would recommend. These work as intended but maybe don't fill completely with water as it affects the weight of brush and how you handle %26 use it. A shorter handle prevents that. It was tricky for me to twist the brush apart to fill with water. After you do the first one you get the hang of it. I did trim one brushes bristles to a cleaner shape. For the money they are fine.

I use these along with watercolor pencils. and then I use these watercolor pens along with a little bit of fresh watercolor paint to brush out the areas of blend everything it works fantastic.

good product, but if you're new to "water brush pens" you do NOT put water into the pen...you simply dip it in water like a paint brush, the difference is in the synthetic fibers that create the tip and how they hold and disperse water much more efficiently when working with watercolor pencils; mr pen is a great company with excellent customet service

I like these water brush paint brushes. The variety of heads offer a wide use - from a regular, small brush to the larger, wider brush. Perfect for use with water based products. You COULD use with oil based paint but would be trickier to clean. My grand kids and I used these with water color paints and paper. They were fun to play with and create beautiful artwork. I took away 1 star due to NO INSTRUCTIONS. These brushes unscrew the opposite of "righty, tighty" so tricky to open to fill with water. I watched a video to figure it out. These DID come with unconditional return policy so for that fact. I definitely recommend these water brushes for anyone wanting to create as they are good for beginners or professionals. The variety of heads (regular brush bristles to a wider, flat brush head) offers many choices for usage. They are comfortable and easy to use

Not well made, but then they weren't expensive either. It's hard to get the top off to fill them up. The resovoir part is thin plastic, not sturdy.

I love the size of the largest brushes as those aren't super easy to find in water brush format. I also love the variety in shapes - flat, round, angled, etc. They hold a decent amount of water. I do have some qualms, however. Firstly, they started getting clogged after a week of use. I tried cleaning with soap and only using distilled water but they still clog and make it impossible to get water to the bristles, which is their primary function. This is a minor complaint but the caps don't fit onto the ends of the brushes and I wish they did.

Poor quality, poor flow and visible brush lines. There was also a longer delivery time.
