Murray's Loc-Lock Gel 8 oz., Moisturizing, Unisex

I liked how well this worked to re-twist my son’s 7 month old locs. It holds well, smells good and is light weight. It doesn’t require a lot of product to get results. I went with the black top extra hold from another’s review of a different formula. This is an inexpensive alternative to beauty supply products for the same results. I wouldn’t put it against professional products but it works for routine home maintenance.

i love this gel. it isn't thick and doesn't make hair hard, but it does hold hair in place, especially if applied while hairI recommend. i recommend.

I’m not sure what this product is for. It was a replacement item for a braiding gel I purchased for drop off. It is far from a braiding gel. It’s more like a light curl lotion.

first time purchasing the gel loc-lock but i must say i am amazed at how good it really is. Worrks perfect for braiding hair and also to keep hair in place in a ponytail as well.

I used this for my loc retwist and it worked wonderfully. It has a great scent and did not make my hair weighed down or flaky. I am definitely buying more!

I use this on my grandaughters hair. She is a natural curly haired girlie and I like the way this holds her hair when put into ponytails, braids and puffs. Its not drying and it doesn't make her hair stiff (as edge control tends to do). Her curls are bouncy and juicy (natural hair girlies know what i mean lol). It doesnt leave a residue when dried and it smells amazing!! And the price is great. I recommend this product

I bought this gel to lock my hair, however, I was disappointed that it did not work for that purpose. It is more like a loose gel and not a locking butter. It does have a nice smell which is good, so I was able to use it to add curl to my hair, but not lock. Maybe if you already have locks it might work for maintenance, but not for locking.
