Had a melting pot night t home with the kids have three of there one with cheese one white chocolate one chocolate warm a little ahead of time it takes a little while to warm up give it about 5-10 mins I couldn't figure out why the chocolate melting wafers wouldn't melt you have to add some milk and with the cheese at the melting pot they added a veggie broth so I added that to my cheese

This makes life a lot easier. Never even thought about something like this until I came across it on the Walmart site. No more standing guard at the microwave and no more over cooked or burnt chocolate, as long as you stir it and check it frequently. The real plus is that it stays warm after unplugging it so you can continue to use it for quite a long time after unplugging it. I unplugged before I even started dipping in it.

I actually bought this for other reasons. Then the use with fondu dip. I use it for potpotpourri, I put in natural herbs and spices, and it keeps it warm just enough. the only negative thing I have to say is there's not an on and off switch, so you literally have to turn it off and on by using the plug. Other than that, i'm very happy with it

I absolute loved these little warmers. I did not use them for chocolate though. I bought 2. I used one for gravy and one for cheese sauce. Everything stayed nice and hot. I serve most dinners buffet style. My guests thought they were adorable. Absolutely perfect.

I bought this with the intention of letting my inner redneck shine. I bought the bag of chocolate, was gonna melt it, and just commence to dunking everything in sight into it. My wife, however, put together a mixture of cheeses with white wine and other not redneck things. After the bread and meats and stuff, she melted the chocolate (her way) and I plan to find myself pleasantly ill before long. Hence my review now. Here's my review: I just got my $9 out of it and anything beyond this is a bonus. Really is a great little thing to have. Buy yourself one. I don't think they can help with the wife though.

I wasn't expecting much for the price but I wasn't expecting this to "cook" the chocolate into an unusable glob 10 minutes after it melted. There's no way to turn this down short of unplugging it which makes it cool down way too fast. It's a cute little pot but not worth even the low price.

I thought I'd use this adorable little crock pot for very small batch cooking/warming and simmering spiced cranberry juice or non alcoholic wine but the heating time to even tepid temperature took far too long. Disappointing because I looked forward to enjoying it this winter. I'll just use my trusty 2qt. Crock Pot instead, which has served me well.

there are no controls or heat levels . i purchased a pack of three, and one package didn't have the long forks in it. i had to look closely, but you could see it was sealed up after an opening. disappointing how many times this actually happens when I buy at walmart.

The unit came without the fondue sticks and I followed the instructions but the chocolate burnt swiftly. There is no way control the temperature. The lid is cheap plastic that does not stay on properly. I do not recommend this item. A regular small crockpot would have worked better.

This product has no temperature control and heats up WAAAAAYYYYY too hot. I was going to use this to melt my chocolate for cake pops and such but it literally burned my chocolate. There's no way to turn it down or maybe a keep warm option it's just hot all the time. Really bummed out.
