I love how easy it is to use and how small it is. It's big enough for a regular size sandwich though. It cooks my grilled cheese just like I like them but not like if you cooked them on the stove which is more crusty. I can't wait to make eggs in it too.
Every household needs a device like this. It's a great way to teach cooking as your kids grow up into their teenage years. Their are endless possibilities with what kind of food can be made in this. We love to make grilled cheese, grilled ham and cheese, little brownies, all kinds of things... Also great for making toasted peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.
love the fact it was $3 and it actually worked!! love the color as well as the easy to clean surface of the toaster part
This is the Perfect Item for a Party of 1!! Heats up Quickly, Easy to Clean, Compact for Easy Storage. So Happy with the Quality
This is a great little sandwitch maker,
Great little machine at a great price. Happy investment.
I love this sandwich maker.. I haven't actually used it for sandwiches yet. but I use it to make mini quesadillas (I fold the tortilla in half and just put it on one side. I also do this with my daughter's tacos so they are easier for her to eat as they become sealed since it is pressed together. I need another one and none of the stores around me have anymore :(
Honestly I'm not sure what I expected but it was a little smaller than I thought it would be. It works well but you just cannot put a lot of ingredients in it.
Bought this thinking it would be a quick and easy way to make grilled cheese. It took about the same amount of time in the pan to make 1 sandwich, so if making multiples it may not be quicker. Also, it completely smashed the grilled cheese to be thinner then even 1 slice of bread. I'm not someone who likes very think sandwiches. I didn't use thick bread to begin with either. I put one thin slice of cheese and it melted some of it out the side.
Inexpensive is the only reason I got this. The trays have gaps that food drops into and to get out, must remove screws and be carful not to pull wiring. Raised edges cook hotter and edges of bread browned dark with center still soft/uncooked. Regular bread slices too small and and must be careful with filling because bread slices won't crimp at edge.
