It works well!
I made this purchase for the color, and this one had a 5" plate. I was surprised by this little waffle maker. It heats up really hot, really quickly! I wiped it down with warm, soapy water and rinsed it before using. THE TOP AND BOTTOM PLATES DO NOT COME OUT. I used the "add water" pancake mix. Had it a bit thick, clinging to the fork. The waffles came out perfect! Don't overfill. My waffles were ready to come out in a matter of a minute. You should remember to UNPLUG it, the only way to turn it off before removing the waffle. It gets very hot, and the waffle is very hot. It is NOT for children's use!
