National Geographic 200 Piece Rock and Fossil Kit - Includes Prehistoric Fossils, Crystals, and Gemstones

I seen this NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC Rocks & Fossils Kit at Walmart and decided to get it for my 8 yr old niece who is SO INTO ROCK Collecting. I checked the kit out after i unpacked my groceries to see what will interest her to get her into participating in something different this summer. The kit comes with instructions and several different bags of rocks. Having the rock kit around reminded me of all the times i came home with a new rock for my collection. My niece seen it the kit Monday and she was so thrilled about the various and different rocks, she is using a container to keep her new rock collection separate from the older rocks she has saved up. I highly recommend .. Great activity to keep your daughter or niece, or grand daughter busy this summer

My kids loved this ! There were so many beautiful stones for them to play with and compare with the pictures. The set comes with an informative book and picture poster for kids to match up and learn more about the contents of the box. Come with a hand held magnifying glass with makes for hours of fun instead of them sitting in front of video games.

This is a great project for a young curious mind who has a passion for rocks or fossils. This came with 200 rocks and fossils and a great display chart on identifying them. It also comes with a display case to show them off

This kit is great for any fossil/rock lovers. My 11 year old daughter loved getting this kit. She had fun while going through everything. It is a large kit and has lots to see and go through.

you get a lot . my son is 11, and he has always been into rocks ,i like the chart you get also. buy a box in crafts , the plastic ones with sections perfect .

i love the rocks i will always now have on my own to label without being nervous putting them back to a school.....i could enjoy myself even with othersnaming rocks.

ive now bought 3 of these. the whole family loves them. its a fantastic start for anyone. very fun and educational. shark teeth are brittle so be careful with those

The first box I bought was excellent. The fossils were in good shape and there were a lot of different ones. Bigger size minerals and crystals. The last couple boxes there have been fewer fossils and they have been in bad shape. Missing minerals and very small.

was very dissatisfied with the product one i purchased the 200 specimen version and was the 24 and then when i opened it there was marbles and river stones that have been died this was not okay i qm so not okay with this garbage for $30 absolutely not
