[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son immediately wanted to start on this once he saw the packaging. He's 8 and at the perfect age for this project. The directions were very easy for him to follow, and he thought it was so cool the back had a solar system poster with glow in the dark stickers to match to the planets and hang on the wall when he was done! The poster had information on each planet, so as he was painting he would read the info about them. We also thought it was fun that it came with a paint tray and color mixing guide, so he also got to learn about mixing colors to make new ones. This is a fantastic set that kept us both engaged and he's now proud to keep in his room!

It comes with a large poster, which can also be used to help create the replica. The poster has facts about each planet. It also comes with glow in the dark paint, and a special ring for Saturn. My daughter is going to flip when she sees this! Great value for what's included. Can't wait to work on this with my daughter!

Painting took about 15 minutes to apply and then we let it dry and assembly took about 20 minutes. The kids have been playing with it for a few days now and it's held up well. The poster and glow in the dark stickers are a fun bonus! Great rainy day activity.
