I'll admit I was hesitant to try this product because I've had past melatonin sleep supplements make me feel groggy the next day or they just don't seem to do anything, but the Natrol Melatonin Advanced Maximum Strength Sleep Support tablets were amazing! I am able to have a restful, uninterrupted sleep and still wake up feeling refreshed and ready to tackle the day. The time release tablets are quick to dissolve and if I have to use the restroom in the middle of the night I am still able to go right back to sleep! No more tossing and turning!!! I don't like sleep medicines because they make me feel drugged and leave me groggy in the morning. Natrol Melatonin helped me gradually relax and fall asleep. When I wake up, my thoughts are sharp and clear, not fuzzy like they are with over the counter sleep aids.

The trend seems to be toward fast dissolve in melatonin products. But, I prefer slow release which hopefully enters the system steadily over an extended period of time. It's also good that each tablet provides 10mg. Cheaper here than if purchased in the store.

As I got older I seemed to wake up every morning around 3am after only sleeping several hours. My doctor recomended Melatonin and volia! I find time released tablets work really well for me and I take them at bedtime with warm cocoa after my Dr recomended warm milk too. Sleeping like a baby with time released melatonin. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'll be totally honest- melatonin has not been my friend in the past. My sleep is terrible since Covid, and I have tried many other sleep supplements only to have very unpleasant results. I was both very excited, and cautious (10mg is a high dose!) to try Natrol Melatonin Advanced Maximum Strength Sleep Support 10 mg Time Release Tablets. I'm writing this review, happy and well rested thanks to these wonder pills! The directions say to take them 20 minutes before bed. The first night, being a hard head, I took 1 before I got all my work done. This was not a good idea as these tablets really work in about 20 minutes. I felt myself fading fast, so I just went to bed. Every night I've taken them after, I have planned to be out in 20 minutes, so I take one then brush my teeth and do my skincare. By the time I'm in bed, I'm OUT! These tabs have a plesant and fruity/sugary taste on the tongue, so I do suggest brushing your teeth first. They are quite small and very easy to swallow. Now, usually sleep aids give me some type of nightmares. I haven't had a single one while taking Natrol. So that's a major plus. I also don't wake up feeling like I slept too long or groggy/slow in any way. I actually wake up feeling rested and refreshed. I also haven't done anything crazy in my sleep like making microwave popcorn or going outside at 3am looking for the mail. I took rx sleep aids in the past, and incidents like that are quite scary and can really turn you off from taking anything else, but I'm very pleased that Natrol won't give you these ugly and unpleasant side effects. I'm also going to add the reason I've stayed away from melatonin in the past. With other melatonin supplements, the next day that melatonin is seeping through my skin and making me smell strange. It's gross and I shouldn't have to smell bad in order to actually sleep. I have been taking these tabs (as needed) for several weeks, and I haven't experienced that strange smell at all! I also can go several nights without needing to take a pill. I don't feel as though I need them. As great as the restful, deep sleep is, I don't feel these are habit forming at all. I can say with confidence that Natrol Melatonin Advanced Maximum Strength Sleep Support Time Release Tablets are an actual God send! They have NO unpleasant side effects, they put me to sleep fast, keep me asleep all night (in my bed, not doing strange things), and I wake up feeling great! They are AWESOME! I'm truly thankful I've found something that finally works and I'm getting some sleep again!

This time-release product is more effective than the regular type. It is effective for me whereas the non-time-release product does nothing.

I have tried many types of melatonin. This is particularly good. Quick acting and long lasting, with no "hang over".

I use this to fall asleep and stay asleep without getting sleepy the next day. Good price and we'll buy again.
