A few days after bathing my dog, I applied the Natural Promise Clinic Aid Clinical Anti-itch Remedy following directions on the bottle. This product is oatmeal based and oatmeal, as proven in many tests, is very helpful in soothing itchy, irritated and inflamed skin. It also contains many vitamins and natural ingredients and definitely doesn't smell like a garden spray which is wonderful AND it does work! My dog hardly scratches at all and seems much calmer and laid back (if such is possible) since he had a good bath and this anti-itch remedy. And the price is right in line with products that don't work as effectively so this will be a repeat buy at our house.
Every summer one of my dogs gets hot spots and the scratching bothers him tremendously. I'm constantly on the lookout for anti-itch shampoo treatment. After years, I believe I've finally found one. I use this shampoo for his dry itchy skin, in conjunction with, the Natural Promise Clinic Aid Hot Spot treatment and my dog is finally enjoying his summer. I highly recommend.
Love this product! This is actually a conditioner to use after shampooing a dog. Our dog is old and has problems with itchy and flakey skin. After bathing her today, she has not itched once. It also has a very pleasant smell. The only downside is that being so thick it took longer to rinse it out. But that is minimal to get my dog the relief from the product.
I used this on adult dog groom with a little too close electric shave. The dog tolerated the application to its paw skin which was not broken just sensitive because of course they don't stand still for owners when they can wiggle. It is safe for the inevitable dog tongue clean up duty. Also used this on ear flag edge when a different dog was scratching at a spot that bothered it. The dog immediately stopped scratching and did not return. And it couldn't reach it with its tongue. I would guess this is a great product for use after a close encounter of the skunk spray kind what with its application all over the dog and rinsing off after the usual remedies and oatmeal. I had more localized applications. Can't wait to try this in winter when the flaky season is in full swing. And if any hot spots appear now, I'm confident they will be addressed quickly. This is really pretty amazing stuff! Neither of my dogs would volunteer for a modeling session.
Clinic Aid Clinical Anti-Itch Remedy works well and is easy to use. First I gave my German Shepherd dog a bath. Then I just towel patted her dry. Then I rubbed and massaged Clinic Aid Clinical Anti-Itch Remedy deep into her coat focusing on the areas she scratches and chews on. After a few days she seems to be not itchy or chewing on herself as much. She has a pleasant smell, sort of flowery but not too strong. We like it.
I have a dog with a patch of itchy skin on his back. This itch relief absolutely eased his itching. After a shampoo, rub all over pets skin and leave on 3 minutes then rinse. So easy and worked great.
Clinic Aid Clinical Anti-Itch Remedy, 16oz It Was just what I needed for my dog. It works well too! I very highly recommend this product! It really works!
This cream was a little messy to use on my cat because she doesn't like me to rub something wet into her fur. I used it on her ears by applying it onto a cotton ball and then wiping it on. A cream worked better for a smaller area like her ears than a spray would have. She seems to be scratching less and is less bothered by itchy ears. I would recommend using this cream with dogs rather than cats because you have to wet their fur before applying, and most cats don't like to get wet.
No scratching! Our female Jack Russell always gets 'itchy' when the seasons change. She will lick her itches until the skin is hurting. Product works nice! Smells a bit 'peachy'. Not too strong, subtle - not that the dog cares, but I do. Goes on white, thick-not runny - gives me a chance to close and put the bottle down to start scrubbing. Does not really lather. I like that bubble effect to keep track of where I scrubbed. Washed her coat - and let it 'rest' for 3 minutes. Rinsed her off. So far, she has NOT scratched, licked or fussed with any hot spots she's been paying attention to! Excellent!
This product does the job. My fog has been scratching and scratching. After making sure he didn't have tics or fleas, I couldn't figure out the issue. I tried this product to see if it would help, and was pleasantly surprised at the results. It seemed to becalm down his irritated skin and. Helped him relax and enjoy life without the constant itching. I would've given the product 5 stars, but it was less than convenient to have to apply to a freshly bathed dog. I would prefer something that could be worked into a dry coat.
