Nature's Bakery Original Fig Bar, 2 Oz, 6 Count Pack

I eat a very healthy diet even when I go to restaurants or travel and have had these fig bars before. I can't always find these available and are nice to have when I do find them and will buy a few at a time so i have some available for next time. These are great snacks and breakfast items to have. They are fantastic with coffee and as a staple for a snack so your not left empty handed with unhealthy options. They are a very healthy grain and fruit combination. The fig bar can be eaten at once or half at a time, they are packaged in two bars which makes them a convenience product that is practical for a light snack or a more substantial snack, and still have a healthy conscious about not eating the whole thing, or have the rest available for a snack at a later date. The combination of fig and wheat makes for a well rounded diet that I am most comfortable with. I generally only eat half size snacks portions and they are already portioned that way. These are usually sold for a good price when I am able to find them.

This is a really delicious fig bar- takes fig bar to a whole new level, in fact. And I love that there is a short list of ingredients and I can pronounce all of them! I sometimes find that food with such natural ingredients lack flavor, or have an off-flavor, but this is really not the case with these fig bars. They are really good! I thought I might have issues with grains, seeds, and my dental work, but this was not the case, even though these fig bars have an excellent, satisfying texture. The bars are noted as non-GMO, which to me, is great, and they are also labeled Kosher and Vegan Certified. I highly recommend these to anyone who really enjoys a good fig bar. And I'm quite happy to discover that there are other varieties!

I was introduced to these wonderous goodies by my parents and have been happily munching on them and enjoying the various flavors. They are great to snack on during long drives to keep up my energy and alertness. When I'm running late they are a quick grab for breakfast or snack.

My wife and I found these to be tasty and moist. We have tried two other flavours from this brand apple-cinnamon and blueberry and enjoyed them also, she prefers the plain ones over the flavoured ones. The whole wheat crust has a good texture and is easy to chew and does not taste like cardboard, the fruit filling is not overly sweet and with only 10 grams of sugar. The ingredient list has eleven items in it and you can pronounce them all. I carry these to work with me and store them in my tool bag for a quick snack that has some staying power. Read the label carefully, there are 6-2 oz packs in the box and each 1-oz bar is a serving. These are a healthy alternative to junk food.

I was somewhat reluctant to try these new fig bars from Nature's Bakery as I usually find fig bars to be hard, dry and tasteless. But not these! These bars have a nice chewy consistency with a perfect amount of sweetness--which is not readily apparent after one bite. Luckily I found that you really can't eat just one! Conveniently packaged in six twin-packs, these treats are perfect for inclusion in the kids lunches or for a snack later in the day at the office. Made from stone ground whole wheat, each bar has 110 calories. They became a favorite for my wife and I very quickly and I am sure they will be added to the weekly grocery list.

These are great tasting. They truly taste like fig. They are also a wonderful find because the ingredient list is actually a list of real foods. You can read everyone of the ingredients. They taste wholesome and the listed ingredients verify it. They also have other flavors available. I hope they come to our store soon. If the flavor of these fig ones are great, I can only imagine the flavor of the others will be just as good. They come in 6 individual packs with 2 bars in each. Their size is comparable to the Fig Newtons. Easy to take with you and you know that they will taste good later in the day.

This fig bar is a very tasty and easy to eat item. It has a very rich fig flavor, but is not too sweet. It is not loaded with fat and cholesterol and is a great little snack when you need a little something to get you through to meal time. It is not too filling so it is just about right.

When I ordered these I thought they were cookies, they are not, they are snack bars. They are really tasty. The outside of the bar is moist, not dry and hard, it has a very nice nutty flavor, with no nuts used. There is a generous amount of fig filling that is slightly sweet with a rich flavor. I'm a big fan of figs and these taste delicious. I like that they have some fiber, I feel like I never eat enough fiber. Each package contains 2 bars and each bar is 110 calories. Still 220 calories for an afternoon snack doesn't seem bad to me. It's much better than a bag of chips or a candy bar and I think this will stick with you more and be better for you. It was a nice little afternoon snack for me and it was especially good with a cup of coffee. I'm sure it would also be good with hot tea. I would think the combination of a hot drink or water would make them even more filling because the fiber should soak up the liquid. I think these would be great to keep in your office drawer or in your backpack for those late afternoons when you feel hungry but know it's going to be awhile before you can eat a full meal.

I received the Nature's Bakery Fig Bar to give my honest opinion. First off, I want to say it has been a while since I have eaten a fig bar, it actually taste pretty good. It is quite sweet, it has 10 gram of sugar which is what I don't like because I have this thing were for some reason whenever I eat anything that is a bit sweet my gum hurts and swells. Which is something I have to go checkup at the dental office. But other than that I would definitely recommend the Nature's Bakery Fig Bar to anyone wanting some delicious fig bars.

I was having a hard time getting the product in the stores so I thought I would order them straight from the company. I was disappointed in the fact that when I received my product, they were hard, stale and generally not anything like what I found previously found. I expected the bars to be fresher since I got them straight from the company.
